Food is delicious but how the business is ran not so much! They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but on google it says open 11-5 on Tuesdays! I went there Monday without checking and closed, tried again Tuesday after checking their hours on google said open but was closed! Called around 3:30 Wednesday to make sure they were open they answered the phone, drive there arrived before 4:00 and they were yes you guessed it CLOSED! I wasted 3 trips and gas going there to try and get dinner and at this point I give up, Thats not very professional and bad business, great way to lose customers and money! I don’t know what’s going on but they need help managing seriously!

Cute space, amazing smells, and overall a great place. The portions were great, the prices were extremely good compared to other Jamaican spots, the lady in the front was so helpful and informative, the food was delicious and flavorful, and truthfully how could you not want to try a place that fuses two of the best cultures - Jamaica and Haiti! Go try it you won’t regret it!

Literally the best Caribbean food I’ve had being in Louisiana.! The flavors are so authentic and flavorful let’s not forget every meat is so tender. I stop here atleast once a week and max 3/4 times a week lol people think oxtails are supposed to be 12.00 it’s an expensive dish and it’s also cooked perfect here and nicely portioned I would pay higher if I had to. Please stay around nice people I can’t get enough of your vibes.!

My husband and I couldn't wait for them to open! Within the first week of them opening we tried just about everything on the menu. UNFORTUNATELY, the food was bland and there was hardly any meat on our plates. (And it happened more than once or twice.) It's like they were being stingy with the meat but loaded us up with lots of rice. So that was very disappointing. 3 different plates that we got had literally 5 tiny bites of the meat! I counted. The J*** chicken actually was flavourful though. It was the only thing that really had flavor out of everything we tried. Maybe it's changed since then. But we stopped going because of the lack of meat. We were spending way too much money just to get literally a few bites of the meat. (Besides the j*** chicken, those plates had decent amount of meat each time). I might go back to try out the burger. They can't mess that up!

This place has amazingly good Caribbean Soul Food! I had their chicken curry with cabbage and plantains. The dish was very flavorful with an array of delicious Caribbean spices. The service was quick, made to order, large portions, reasonably priced, and pleasant people. I really enjoyed my experience and I’m definitely going back!

I was super excited to finally find some "CARIBBEAN FOOD" in my area. The food is delicious and very flavorful. The J*** Chicken is a little too SPICY for me, but the flavors are great! Jamaican Ox tail was tender and delicious, rice and Peas yummy. lf you're looking for something different packed with flavor, I recommend this place.If I had to complain about anything, it would be the price, I find it to be a bit pricey, and the Ox Tail is only served on certain days.

So the food is absolutely amazing at the small business. I've been there three times since April. My problem is not the taste of the food but the portion size seem to decrease. I always order oxtails plate. I gotta plate with two oxtails this last time which gives me mixed feelings when I opened the plate but the owner/cashier ensured me they were meaty. Whenever I sat down to eat it... it wasn't it was a thick bone. The plate is close to $30 I was expecting more. The beef patties are probably my favorite part of this dining experience.
