Me and my husband went there they were taking a lot of Caucasian orders and refused African-American orders. We patronize businesses and our money spent anywhere we wanted to spend but that's not acceptable

I moved here in 1979 and have been going to Fleur de Lis at least twice a month ever since Usually more then twice a month. I CRAVE their pizza and nothing else will do. Always get the large around the world, No anchovies and a Miller Lite (maybe 2). ALWAYS GOOD. I hate that since the pandemic they are not able to find workers so are not open for lunch right now. My 89 year old neighbor gets the Fleu de Lis cravings too and we go and have pizza and beer and she really enjoys this treat. Whenever I ask her where/what she wants to eat it's always Fleu de Lis. In my opinion you can't be part of Louisiana if you don't have Fleur de Lis running through your veins. It's simply the BEST

I've notice they are not putting hardly enough meat on the pizzas anymore. Tastes like cardboard now!!

We had the delicious shrimp Pizza. All of their pizzas are very good. And I have ice cold beer and sodas and other spirits. And that what you would call a drink a spirit .

We got to this place earlier then expected and waited in the parking lot for our company to arrive. We had our dog as we were bringing him to walk with us at an event we were attending right after. A waitress came out while we were walking him and yelled, "That thing can't be out here"... I have an 8lb bich-poo who was leashed. Ok fine. We put him up (it's a cool evening and we left the windows cracked). She then comes back and yells at us and says, "You can't park here unless you're eating here"... which we were. To her surprise, when our party of 6 showed up she acted SLIGHTLY nicer. Pizza was small for the price and cheese slipped off. You're better off at Dominoes ... unless you like a good yell by a dog hating waitress and the taste for mediocre pizzas.

The last time I went to this restaurant I said I would not come back because of the waitress that waited on us. Tonight, we had over an hour wait, the pizza, not as good as it used to be. We had a gentleman wait on us that was patient and kind. The same woman that I was referring to with my first comment came to our table and asked the woman we were sitting with to watch her language. I turned to look at her only to see the same rude woman. I asked what was said that was so offensive, and none of the four of us at the table could figure out what she was talking about. As a matter fact the conversation was about the woman’s mother’s death. I’m really sure that there were no words or language that could’ve been offensive in that situation. If she had been listening to the conversation she would’ve never interrupted if she had any sense. This woman is seriously losing business for your restaurant. I tried to call the restaurant back to speak to the manager only to continually get the answering machine stating they were closing early April 2 because of an employee shortage. Maybe that was her way of getting us out of the restaurant so she could close.

If you want to know what it was like going out for dinner in 1989 then this is the place for it. Cash only, no lighting. Everything looks just like it did in 1989. As far as the pizza. I was expecting great from all the 225 awards. Honestly. It had no taste at all. Reminded me of a dollar Tony's pizza from walmart. Im sure they have their regulars but they are not going for the pizza.

Have been going to this place for years! Went recently and was treated absolutely horrible by the waitress that’s been there for 27 years! She is the rudest, unkind person I’ve ever dealt with in my 61 years dining out! Will never return here as long as that person works there! The other two people I was with also said the same! We also will be very vocal to everyone I know to spend there hardworking money somewhere else!

The original Roman-style pizza in Baton Rouge is not to be missed. One of the oldest buildings in the city and has been in operation serving great pizza for over 60 years.

The pizza was a thin crust and greasy. The decor is something out of the 70s it hasn't been cleaned since. If you like a dingy dark bar this is the place.

I was actually about to turn in to this restaurant, when someone hit my car from running a stop sign right there by government and cloud. All cars from the accident were on the grass waiting for the police to show up. Older woman comes out of the restaurant, and says we cannot park there. I tell her an accident occurred and the police are on the way. The police come, and the policeman directs me to the back of their parking lot to change my tire as it flattened in the accident and so we can just go inside after to eat as that's why we were there. The police leaves as my friend is changing my tire. This lady comes out AGAIN, sees my friend changing my tire, and proceeds to tell me I need to move my car. I tell her, ma'am I'm changing my tire after an accident so I can take my car home, give me a moment. She says okay, goes inside the restaurant, comes out with a chair to sit and watch us, and proceeds to call the police to have my car removed. Private property or not, it was extremely Disgusting behavior. No basic human decency at all. The cop that she called agreed, and waited with me so she wouldn't keep bothering us. Their parking lot wasn't even half full at almost 7 PM, so she was worried about the wrong thing. She needs something better to do than to be policing that empty a** parking lot. I moved my car to Gov't Taco and proceeded to have dinner there. Way better environment.

I'm a pizza guy first and foremost. I've heard that this pizza was top notch so I finally decided to go give it a try. We got there about 4:30 on a Saturday. Right off the bat I see they only accept cash or checks. Minor inconvenience. Weird in this day and age. No refills on the soft drinks either. They come in 8 ounce bottles. They don't have fountain drinks. We order the pizza & our server tells us 40-45 minutes for the pizza. Keep in mind this place is not crowded. Long time to wait for pizza but we figured we here. We finally get our pizza about an hour and 15 minutes later. He was telling other customers that got there after us it would be a 2 hr wait. Finally got to try this pizza and it was just ok. We write a check and as we were walking out the guy runs us down so he can look at my driver's license so he can write the number down. Also wanted two phone numbers. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Also the place is a dump.
