We( Husband and I) thought the food was Very Tasty and good. The service was nice. The ambiance was peaceful. We really enjoyed the SMOKEHOUSE BURGER , it had GREAT FLAVOR & the Onion Rings were great also. We will definitely go back.

On our way out of Baton Rouge we stopped at Franks for breakfast. The sweet potato beignets with some honey I think was the star of all the meals. Service was great and nice country store feel to the inside of the restaurant.

Great find for us as we enjoy local restaurants much better than the large chains. The interior is nothing special but it has a comfortable feel. The staff was wonderful and I enjoyed the fantastic food. The prices are in line with most places nowadays, but I feel like we got a bit more for our money at Frank's. Just go, you will not be disappointed.

Large portions of southern comfort food. I ordered the country fried chicken breakfast platter; it literally took two platters plus a small plate for the biscuits to hold all of the food. All of it is good.

Classic laidback breakfast diner experience with ridiculously large portions (at least for a nonAmerican), greasy food, and charming southern vibe and service! Just what we were looking for on an uncharacteristically frosty winter morning for Louisiana. Plenty of options on an extensive menu, including a few vegetarian (but not many). Gotta recommend the sweet potato beignet bites and the gator sausage eggs benny was also delicious! Our eyes were much bigger than our stomachs on this morning so they have gave us a box and we had leftover beignets for the trip home.

I haven't been to Frank's in probably 17/18 years, and it was their other location. This was definitely a treat that I've been missing. I got the alligator breakfast platter with poached eggs, oatmeal, and grilled biscuits. The gator was divine, and everything else was good as well! I'll be back soon!! ?

Fried oyster Po-boy was a good sized serving...I could barely touch the fries. Gumbo was ok. Everything with yhe gumbo seemed right, but a bit bland.
