While the selection of flavors was limited, every single one was fantastic! The quality of the ice cream was outstanding creamy, rich, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you’re looking for unique, high-quality flavors and don’t mind a smaller menu, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Gail's has some of the best ice cream I've had in BR. The lemon berry ice box pie flavor is phenomenal. I sampled several of their other flavors and will definitely stop in again. Staff was friendly and quick. I suggest parking behind it and walking around to Perkins entrance. Definitely a great place for date night.

Great local ice cream shop! I do wish the flavors had more flavor, however! The scoop sizes were small as well. It was still a great value for the price they charge, but it left me hoping for more. A locally owned similar shop across the river in Port Allen off Highway 1 has more flavor, larger size scoops and more flavor options. I have no stake in either, but it was sharply in contrast with yesterday's experience at Maddie's.

I walked here only to find it was closed for a private event. It would have been nice if it had been posted on the website that it was closed.
