This was my first time eating from Golden Chick. Had the surf & turf combo. Extremely crunchy, if that's what you're into. The tenders were just ok. I've had better. The shrimp were so crunchy, I couldn't even taste the shrimp. I had a raspberry lemonade for my drink, which wasn't even cold. In the less than 20 mins. it took to get home, IF there was any ice in there, it must've all melted. The drink was not cold at all. I had to put it in the freezer when I got home, just to put a little chill on it. The mac & cheese was just ok. I've had better. The best thing in the combo meal was the roll, which was nice & soft. I don't think I'll be back. I see I wasn't missing out on anything. Sorry!

I went to the drive thru on Saturday March 30, 2024. The young lady comes on and says “the system is down, but the lobby is open.” I’m confused so I ask her to repeat what she said. She repeats the same thing. I asked how are you taking orders in the lobby if the system is down. The lobby system doesn’t work for the drive thru? She says the drive thru is not working you have to come into the lobby. I left because as of this review I still don’t know why you “the employee “ can’t use the lobby register to take a drive thru order?

Chicken was good. First time to eat at one, so downloaded app after going in; decided on a 3 piece tender for $3.99. Well, no online ordering available. So I go to counter - couldn't see a price for just tenders; when I asked, it was over $5. I decided to get a combo after all. 3 piece combo is $8.99, with almost 10% tax, it's going to come to a couple of cents under $10. Comes with a roll, a side and a drink - OR - can get a second side instead of a drink. That's what I did -and my total came to over $10. When I said it should be that much, I was informed there was a 59 cent up charge for getting a second side. NOWHERE does it mention there is an upcharge for this. I decided to go ahead anyway - guess what else they don't do besides online ordering? They don't take Apple Pay. Had to dig through purse to find wallet and fish out credit card. I might try Golden Chick again - but definitely not this location. Oh - one of my sides was mashed potatoes- they didn't ask what kind of gravy I wanted so I figured it wouldn't have any gravy. Wrong - they just randomly chose that icky (to me) white gravy instead of brown gravy.
