I like this little place. They are extremely nice. Very inviting. The foods good. Feels like grandmas cooking. Can't wait for them to get a bigger place.

Will immediately make you feel uncomfortable apon walking through door tried to support black business but very unprofessional nasty unnecessary attitudes I immediately went to blue store across the street I could never spend my money with anyone like that

This is definitely a place I would recommend. The food is really good, home-cooked food like your grandma would cook. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are down to earth people and they get to know their frequent customers. A great place to go for lunch!

First-timer. Very friendly staff. I had the smothered turkey neck, cornbread dressing, greens, yams & lemonade. Cornbread dressing was a little hard (was given the last portion in the pan). Yams were too sweet for my teeth! Glad I went to taste for myself and support. Best wishes to the business.

I come here all the time just for the fried ribs although EVERYTHING else is GOOD because I TRIED IT... BABY, I LOVE THEM FRIED RIBS!!! IF ANYONE IS LOOKING FOR SOME REALLY GOOD HOME COOKED MEALS, THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!!!

Second time visiting and tried out the red beans this time. Got the fried chicken special last time and really enjoyed it, but I wasn't too hot about the Mac n cheese. Wasn't bad, just a bit bland for my liking. The sides I got this time are great, especially the yams. I added some hot sauce to the red beans, since I prefer a lil kick, and it was great. I'll be back to try out other entrees. While I was in line, a lady brought out some fresh cake slices to the fridge so of course I had to grab one lol.

I should add that this place seems to get busy and stay busy for lunch and late lunch goers, so be prepared to wait about 15 minutes. It's not too bad and won't deter me from returning.

My issue. Great food but shitty service. The lady at the register was extremely nice but the young guy fixing the plate was rude as hell. Mumbling and complaining that we ordered multiple plates. Then he proceeded to talk crazy to other people in the line. I don’t know why black business feel like they can talk to us a certain way because we look the same. If you don’t like your job quit and get another job. In my opinion young light skin guy should not be in the front serving food. But great job to the lady at the register. Very professional
