Today was my first time here. I dropped off my sister in New Orleans and on the way back I needed a calm spot to finish up homework and grab a drink, which led me to here. I got a matcha latte with cold foam, and it was very strong and ended up tasting great with the added mexican vanilla and sugar at the front. The vibes in highland are relaxed and social. The outdoor decor is especially pleasant.
Their 'coffee of the day' makes repeat visits worth it. The drip coffee here is pretty great, with unmatched variety.
The espresso is also quite enjoyable. The medium roast option is the most fragrant and balanced, in my opinion.

this cafe is so incredible. the vibes are global village coffee house from the 1996-98 era. and there is this one barista called BC who makes the best drinks is so beautiful and kind.
