Very good, get the marinated steak
Inga’s never misses! We got about once a week and always get the steak sub. No sub in all of BR can beat it.
This location has been a disappointing experience. The owner is consistently rude and unwilling to listen or understand customer concerns. She often makes dismissive comments like “you can’t add anything else” or “you can’t have this,” which makes the environment unwelcoming. If you’re simply looking for food and nothing more—no flexibility or service expectations—this place might be fine. But if you value respectful service and being treated like a customer who matters, I’d recommend going elsewhere. Woah I could give ZERO stars.
Owner is EXTREMELY rude and will always try and screw you on price. ALSO DO NOT PARK IN THEY’RE DRIVEWAY THEY WILL CONFRONT AND YELL AT YOU.
Food is great! The people that serve you are really nice. Lowkey a hidden gem on campus imo
Food was ok, very fast service and convenient location.
This place was wonderful! Just a quick walk from my classes and dorm on campus and very quick and lovely service! I had the ham & swiss cheese sandwich with several other fixings as well as some chips on the side with a Coke. The establishment was very cute --- the perfect definition of a hometown hole in the wall gem. I highly recommend stopping by to grab some lunch and then getting coffee at Highland Coffees just down the road!!
very cute, laid back, sandwich shop right next to LSU. was the only place open during the snow storm. i got “the best” sandwhich, with a cup of gumbo. both very tasty!! definitely worth a visit
This places sucks so bad its

My friend that worked there’s review got taken off of Indeed so I thought I’d post it here:So, the other comments are accurate of what the job is requiring of you. Cooking, cleaning, cashier, and prepping. Over all a lot of manual labor, which isn’t a bad thing. All the other reviews are fairly positive but there are a few things you should know before applying. When I went to apply I was hired on the spot. But, the working environment is very intense and fast paced. The owner expects you to make no mistakes and if you do you will get yelled at. Also, if you work there please note that it will only be you, the owner, and one other worker. You get paid $8.50 for the first two weeks and then get bumped up to $9. In a previous review from 2018 it said a pro was a free sandwich for lunch. The sandwiches are not free. She told us that she pulls $5 from our electronic tips (which you don’t receive) to cover the expenses of lunch. She also told us that we will not receive our electronic tips and that we would receive them as a no guarantee “bonus” 3-4 months from the start of your shift. I was treated with disrespect and yelled at. On multiple occasions I’ve had DoorDashers, Customers, and Delivery people apologize to me for having to work for her in the two months of my employment. When I had quit because I was not receiving my electronic tips. She had almost tried to withhold me check from me on payday for an extra two weeks. Turn over rate is high. So when you look at reviews yes most is true but please take this review into consideration as well. Never in my life has a job made my mental and emotional health deteriorate so rapidly. Good Luck.ProsGood Customer Service experienceConsShort Breaks, No free lunches, No electronic tips, Disrespectful management

No frills sandwich, subs, and teriyaki bowl place in the LSU North Gates area. Prices are low, service is usually fast, and the people are friendly. Worth a stop if you are in the area.
