My friend that worked there’s review got taken off of Indeed so I thought I’d post it here:So, the other comments are accurate of what the job is requiring of you. Cooking, cleaning, cashier, and prepping. Over all a lot of manual labor, which isn’t a bad thing. All the other reviews are fairly positive but there are a few things you should know before applying. When I went to apply I was hired on the spot. But, the working environment is very intense and fast paced. The owner expects you to make no mistakes and if you do you will get yelled at. Also, if you work there please note that it will only be you, the owner, and one other worker. You get paid $8.50 for the first two weeks and then get bumped up to $9. In a previous review from 2018 it said a pro was a free sandwich for lunch. The sandwiches are not free. She told us that she pulls $5 from our electronic tips (which you don’t receive) to cover the expenses of lunch. She also told us that we will not receive our electronic tips and that we would receive them as a no guarantee “bonus” 3-4 months from the start of your shift. I was treated with disrespect and yelled at. On multiple occasions I’ve had DoorDashers, Customers, and Delivery people apologize to me for having to work for her in the two months of my employment. When I had quit because I was not receiving my electronic tips. She had almost tried to withhold me check from me on payday for an extra two weeks. Turn over rate is high. So when you look at reviews yes most is true but please take this review into consideration as well. Never in my life has a job made my mental and emotional health deteriorate so rapidly. Excellent Subs and excellent Teriyaki bowls very quick always tasty if you're in a hurry and don't want fast food stop here
No frills sandwich, subs, and teriyaki bowl place in the LSU North Gates area. Prices are low, service is usually fast, and the people are friendly. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

Best subs under the sun! Used to work there, but I can't lie about the taste! It was my lunch for many a days. Even wore Shaq's shoe once for a picture when it was just me and a coworker at the shop ??. And Soonmi! I have been in India for over a year now! Will have to stop by for a visit someday when I'm back in the states.

Pretty average. The meats were good but there are anything you find anywhere that sells deli meat. To standout you need unique bread/ toppings/ condiments etc. The bread here is flat and nothing special. Would try again if I’m on this side of town, but nothing I would go out of my way for.
