I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to say something after today. I ordered a Super Felony burrito from Izzo’s, expecting a huge, loaded burrito as advertised. Instead, I got something smaller than their regular size — and to top it off, it looked like they were rationing every scoop of filling.

Not only was it ridiculously undersized for the price, but the ingredients weren’t even fully portioned out. I’m talking half scoops of rice, meat, and beans — like they were trying to stretch a single portion across three orders. If I wanted a snack, I would’ve asked for one.

For what I paid, this was honestly insulting. I don’t know if someone in the kitchen was just having a bad day or if this is how they’re cutting corners now, but this was NOT worth the money.

Izzo’s, if you’re going to charge premium prices, at least deliver the product you're advertising. This was a total letdown.

Didn’t get a chance to eat the food because I went the restroom first and the bathrooms were DISGUSTING and on top of it, a worker used the bathroom and didn’t wash their hands! YUCK.

Izzo’s WHY ARE YOU CUTTING THE SHRIMP IN HALF and charging full price for shrimp anything???? Times can’t be that hard and if it is customers need a discount! Like seriously what food establishment does that! Judging by the other comments yea this place HAS gone downhill, I’m not spending money here anymore, Chipotle here I come… I asked the person making my food how many shrimp come on a burrito bowl and he said 10… apparently 10 pieces and NOT 10 shrimp 🙄🙄

I am a loyal izzos customer. This place is one of my favs. The food seems fresh. They possibly copied Chipotle, but one up'ed them.
I usually go with the seasoned chicken.
Try their street tacos and burritos. You won't be disappointed.

The Metairie Izzo’s has gone down hill over the past couple of years. Ordered from there for the last time tonight. The orders have been consistently wrong, poor quality, and lacking ingredients we paid for. Just returned from the 4th time of having to get our order fixed in two months, they didn’t send half of our order. Last time, the steak burrito we ordered came with no steak. If you’d like to be disappointed, frustrated, and let down, feel free to eat here.

As this is my favorite place to come 4x’s a week. I’m very disappointed that-and I know not very respectful on my end to come 10-15 minutes before closing-according to Google is 9:00pm… But I rushed to get to THIS location for dinner. And was refused to be served a to go order at 8:49. If the closing time is 8:45/8:50. Please RESPECTFULLY change that on Google. Thank you.
By the way, this would be my only negative-as I stated-MY FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT!

Walked in. Seen by two employees. Greeted by neither. Ignored and left waiting to try and place an order until I just decided to leave. This was once upon a time the best location. Now it’s just as sad as the old food on the line looked.

STOP, DO NOT GO HERE. I've been here 3 times in the last year & each time it became worse. The customer service is deplorable. I was the only customer, besides a kids birthday group that had obviously been served & it took over 10 minutes from the time I was greeted to check out. The food was luke warm by the way. Beware.. they charge you for ALL the extras. My money will be spent elsewhere.
