It’s was almost like we inconvenienced the staff by coming in to dine on 6/27/25. Poor customer service. Very poorly built burrito. Also had to argue with the staff to get the extra food I paid for. Fountain drink machine was broken. So we had to pay an up charge for a bottled drink but didn’t receive a credit for the drink that came with our meal. Dining room was dirty. Would not recommend.

The girl that fix my food skimp me throughout the whole thing I kept telling her I will pay extra.. then the lettuce wasn’t fresh brown all over.. she didn’t even know how to ring up the meal over charge me I had to correct her.. then to top it off this girl put five shrimp on my bowl and to pay over 19$ for 5 shrimp is outrageous

Came in to Izzo's to grab something for dinner after a long tough day. Was greeted when I walked in and was assisted by Mrs. Sarah. Sarah was amazing. Friendly smile, food done right, and thanks my for coming in. Conversation was short but I can tell she was genuinely wonderful person. She made my day a little better. Will definitely come back again.

The Metairie Izzo’s has gone down hill over the past couple of years. Ordered from there for the last time tonight. The orders have been consistently wrong, poor quality, and lacking ingredients we paid for. Just returned from the 4th time of having to get our order fixed in two months, they didn’t send half of our order. Last time, the steak burrito we ordered came with no steak. If you’d like to be disappointed, frustrated, and let down, feel free to eat here.

I used to work at this location along with Burbank and Citisquare years ago. I was in the mood for Izzos but was greatly disappointed. The guy on the line was obviously new, I had to correct him several times before I just gave up and let him make whatever. I asked for corn street taco combo (said it twice). He started to make 3 flour tacos and I then asked again for corn. He didn’t put them on the grill and just pressed 3 corn tortillas ( I only wanted 2). After he was done making my tacos, I said I wanted queso for my dip, and he said “oh you want a meal deal?” as if that’s not what the street taco combo comes with. Then he proceeded to give me a kids cup and still just charged me for a street taco combo. My wife burrito was also rolled poorly. I am not blaming him because he obviously wasn’t trained well. The manager was just chilling/doing nothing. We were the only people in line. The guy also took a phone call order in the middle of him making our food. This franchise has gone so down hill it’s laughable. Probably why all of your managers left during Covid and went to rotolos. Remember when yall cut everyone’s pay during the global pandemic? Ozzie should be ashamed of what this company has gone to. Pay more in labor so people will want to work here and have time to train your employees and clean the store. I’ll stick to Burbank next time, I at least know Louis wouldn’t accept this standard.

They’re alright, if anything needs to be specially grilled (shrimp, steak etc.) employees often smirk and act like is a burden. Always ready to leave their shift.

This location is actually pretty good. The staff was helpful, the food was hot, and the service was quick. I got the super burrito with chicken and the super meal deal it’s a bit pricey at 15.00 but it’s good

Absolute horrible experience. I eat Izzos at least three times a week. Normally go to the one on bluebonnet because it’s closer. The big heavy set high school cafeteria lunch lady looking manager is extremely rude. Has her air pods in and doesn’t want to communicate with customers when you are trying to give her your order. On top of that the portions were extremely slim. No one comes to Izzos to be skimped. Probably would have more food to serve if she wasn’t eating it all in the back.

Hi Bye

If I could give it zero stars I would. This location sucks so bad. I went to get my girlfriend the taco Tuesday meal, she complained the meat tasted old, along with other ingredients. The same day had to take her to urgent care after taking ill really bad, turns out she developed food poisoning. She was vomiting everywhere and had massive stomach cramps. Will never come back to this location ever again.
