This is as close as you're gonna get to a legitimate SoCal burrito in terms of size

Prices very reasonable for the location, the volume of food ordered and how it tastes

Clean facility and friendly staff as well!

I ordered the second largest burrito with a cayenne tortilla, seasoned dark chicken, pinto beans, black beans, shredded cheese, lettuce, some pico, cilantro and cilantro ranch

I recommend this restaurant for anyone that's in the mood for a basic, simple burrito or anyone that's trying to have a more balanced meal. Don't come here if you're looking for really bold flavors; you won't find that here.

Also, ask for their in house salsa; whoever helped me never offered any, but it's ok because I ended up just using my own salsa at home.

Yesterday was my first experience eating at Izzo‘s and what an experience that was! Staff was warm and friendly, and helped me through the ordering process. The food was delicious. Everything was very nice and fresh; lettuce was crisp, tomatoes were ripe and the meat was well prepared and tasty. We were able to sit outside and enjoy a beautiful day in Louisiana! Izzy’s Is now on my list of favorites! Try it. You won’t be disappointed.

Man this was a fine restaurant to eat at. I have to say they taste better than Chipotle to me. The atmosphere feels like west coast flair but such a good spot.

The area inside is clean and staff is very attentive. The prices are fair for the amount of food you get and customizable options are always a great choice. The chips and salsa paired with the tacos are a massive bargain. Only wish they give you a bigger salsa cup.

The location is almost hidden from the road way unless you're a local person. However 9.5/10 location for this fast fresh tex mex food.

I placed an order for delivery due to me having a wreck 2 days ago and the quality and portion size was disappointing and disgusting. I’m not sure if the orders are double checked by management before they’re given to customers, but they need to be at this point because this is absolutely ridiculous. It’s sad when companies take advantage of you because you order something for delivery. The burrito had no meat and the taco looked like it came out the trash. $30 for food and this is what you get. This needs to be fixed ASAP!

So full disclosure I’m not a big burrito fan as it were but in this case, I ordered the beef tacos that came with Mexican rice and beans and chips and salsa. I selected the corn for the shell thinking that meant the crunchy shell rather than flour. the other choice. Unless it’s a soft corn shell, I got the flour shell. Now, as far as the actual taste of the tacos… I thought was good flavors and a good taste… The meat seemed like it had been seasoned properly…

OK now to these sides… Like this is what I think they’re trying to say… We are gonna give you what we think is an above average taco so just think of the sides as a bonus… Like here we really don’t care one way or the other but we wanted to give a couple of sides so here you go…

That’s about as far as the thinking went other than ordering the Mexican rice and the refried beans from XYZ supplier ….

I would bet you anything I own that I could go into any grocery store and get the cheapest offbrand, Mexican rice and refried beans and they would taste better than what IZZO’S is putting up!

Does that blow anybody’s mind like me? My point is like I’m a nobody right?

Like I admit that I only went in here because I am staying in a room next-door, but I’m not Gordon Ramsay…

Like how can I go in there and taste two things that are so pathetically bland that I could go into that little makeshift kitchen next-door chopped me up some onions get a few spices together and make those crap sides taste at a minimum three times better!!! You’re only

So I can’t wrap my head around how anybody who draws a dollar from that corporation could not demand that their food is worthy? Probably because none of them eat there.

How can a person with the ability to make changes not make changes when it’s so obvious… Do they not have a pallet? Are things so tight that you cannot pay a little bit more for a decent product? If it were up to me, I would say look if that’s what you’re going to serve me then just reinvest that money because I’m not gonna eat them anyway.

The burrito was genuinely good—flavorful, well-wrapped, and the only reason this isn’t a 1-star. But everything else? Rough. Server looked strung out and barely engaged. The food bar setup mimics Subway, but the ingredients looked tired: refried beans crusted on the container wall, dry chicken, and guac that I could beat blindfolded in my own kitchen. Worst part? They gave us a bag of stale chips and tried to cover it with a layer of fresh ones. I could taste the difference. That’s not just lazy—it’s disrespectful. If the kitchen matched the burrito, this place would be solid. But right now, it’s all downhill from the wrap.

It's always super aggravating the difference in priority between in store orders and door dash or anything adjacent. I arrive 5 minutes before my expected pick up time and leave 15 minutes after. Someone comes in 10 minutes after me and gets 2 burritos the same as the order I'm picking up and they are in and out in 5 minutes. There's 3 employees in there and at the time only 1 was doing the order for me as the only active order at the time until the next customer I spoke of came in. I always seem to deal with this as a driver and it's super frustrating. When I'm a walk in customer? The complete opposite ALWAYS.
NOT TO MENTION on a Monday at 7 o'clock you are some how completely out of quac??? Like how

Once Great, Now Fading — Needs a Refresh

Izzo’s Illegal Burrito at Citiplace has definitely seen better days. This used to be a go-to spot back around 2009–2010, but it’s clear the place could really use a refurbishment — the vibe just feels worn out.

The service was attentive but slow, which was appreciated but didn’t quite make up for the rest. One of the biggest disappointments was seeing that the salsa bar is gone — now replaced by a sad little setup that looks more like a cup lid station than anything flavorful.

If you’re craving Izzo’s, you might want to grab it to go. Dine-in is not the move right now. Here’s hoping they bring it back to its former glory.
