I’m giving it a one star review. Purchased three separate lunches and only one of them was eatable. The “chopped beef” was minced beef swimming in a, not very good, sauce. Basically a beef soup but not as good as it sounds. The ribs were also swimming in the before mentioned sauce begging to be put out of their misery. They were sad. The sides, Mac & cheese and potato salad, were for human consumption but I pity the poor person.
Apparently the beef and ham were okay. Hey, one out of three.
P.S I heard that the onion rings were okay.

My job decided to treat us to lunch and we all decided to go to this place and it was the worst mistake we could have made. This is the WORST bbq I’ve ever taste and we spent good money there. We purchased 30 plates and no one enjoyed the food. I would chose air pudding over this place anyday! DO NOT GO THERE!!

There was plastic in my food that got stuck in my teeth. The chicken was ice cold. I can’t even describe the taste of the beans. Absolutely terrible food.

Don’t waste your money. I’ve been 2 times now and the food was not good. Everything was bland. Don’t get the fried mushrooms they do not come with sauce. I’ve yet to have anything notable from this restaurant. Service was fine atmosphere is ok but I’ve had better food from the school cafeteria?

I like the drive thru. I don’t go for atmosphere. LOVE that they have Coke line of products. Love their bar b que beef sandwiches!

This was not bbq. It was deli meats with some very vinegary sauce. The chopped beef was out of a bucket and everything else was either crockpot or oven baked. It was disappointing and expensive for deli meats. The service was great. Very nice and friendly, but the food just doesn’t meet any kind of standard for bbq. We will not be back.

Best barbecue I’ve had in North

This place has got to be the most delicious barbecue I’ve had since coming from North Carolina and has everyone knows North Carolina is big and barbecue. I would add a picture, but I’m on the bus right now going to the mall Louisiana and I just passed this place and realized I needed to give it a good review. Who does this place is professional, delicious and amazing. I would eat there every day if I could.!!

Best BBQ in Baton Rouge...No one touches their almost 69 year run in BTR.Pick your favorite meat or do a 3-meat platter and you will go out full and with a smile on your face.Sides...they have most everything you would normally eat with BBQ, but I always get a side of Potato Salad and another side of Potato Salad. Cole slaw is good, fries are good, beans are great...but I have been eating their potato salad since 1975...Then save room for a fantastic ice cream cone to top it off ..I was trying to keep this a secret, but well I cannot.Try them...and you will be back many times...
