I went here for lunch and I ordered a cheese burger well done. I went to pickup in the time stated my order was not ready I was greeted well and offered a drink while I wait. When I returned to work to eat my lunch. I was completely disappointed that the burger was completely raw. I made more than 5 attempts to get a refund through management each time I was promised that and didn’t receive I’m not sure if the business is under new management since reopening but the food quality and price is outrageous and customer service is substandard
Went for a 4 po-boy takeout and a 5 piece wings . They were very helpful and called me before to verify an item and order was ready before I got there and service was great. Softshell poboy was perfectly cooked and delicious . The cochon de lait was fabulous and the buffalo chicken sandwich was excellent.
My two gripes for the 4 star were the wings were tiny and I like big wings if I'm gonna spend that much . Second gripe is if I spend $100 on an orderr and tip you could throw me a french fries in there as none of the poboys come witth fries.

So thankful for gluten free items. I was so excited for fried shrimp and fried green tomatoes. I have to say they really need to use some seasoning. It was pretty much flavorless. But the remoulade was good an added something.. Shrimp and grits were also lacking in flavor. My suggestion to the restaurant would be don’t be afraid to spice it up.

So my wife wanted a ham and cheese Poboy that was only on the menu as a kid’s meal. To their credit the staff agreed to make her one. Sadly though, what she got was a Poboy with 2 little pieces of ham, a little cheddar cheese and…….nada. A sad little sandwich with no lettuce, no tomato, no pickles, no mayo, no mustard. If that wasn’t bad enough they charged the same price as a Cuban—$14.99! Needless to say they are not high on our restaurant list anymore. Do better!

I consistently visit this restaurant when in town visiting family. Good food, good service and warm greetings from the manager. Really like this place!

We picked this place because of their gluten free and Cajun options. Atmosphere was cute. Food was mediocre and acceptable. I appreciated the gluten free appetizer options. The service was inattentive and unacceptable. The entrees came out in three separate batches with 5-10 minutes in between. We had Ashley as our server. She was nice and friendly but she needs training and was inattentive even if we were only party in the restaurant at 6 PM.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free appetizers.

Our food was first rate and our server was friendly and attentive. We had the shrimp & grits (the creamy grits were perfect and came topped with a generous helping of perfectly grilled shrimp) and fried chicken & red beans (also delicious). Oh, and the bread pudding… heavenly! The quality of the food and service were upscale, but prices were reasonable and the setting is informal. Highly recommended!

We went for restaurant week and tried a couple of the dishes they were highlighting.
Shrimp & Grits was good.
Fried pork chop was good.
Icebox lemon pie was really good.

Mandatory tip on take outs is a complete ripoff. Never eating here again.

A 15% “takeout fee” that isn’t advertised is deceitful and makes me not want to come back even though it’s convenient for lunch.

We had dinner at JED's Local mid week recently. It's the first time we had eaten 'in' since they remodeled, and the interior is very 'bistro cool' - simple, elegant, clean. The service was prompt and attentive. The food was delicious. We had the meatball and grits appetizer, and devoured it. I had the cuban sandwich, which was grill pressed (as it should be) so the bread was crunchy and golden. It was generously filled with meats, and dressed perfectly. My wife had the grilled shrimp and grits, which she very much enjoyed. All in all, a great experience, and we'll now make it part of our regular rotation.

The gluten free options were endless and delicious. I'm from up north but when I saw reviews mentioning all the GF options I had to come in to try for myself. I got the fried pickles, onion rings, and the seafood platter. Everything was so good. Service was prompt and the girls working at the front were adorable and so kind. If I lived here, I'd be here all the time. So glad I found y'all on my way through.

I’ve had Jed’s on my list for a while to try and it didn’t live up to expectations. The roast beef poboy was cold and sad. My wife’s catfish poboy barely had catfish on it and was also cold. We were both disappointed. It made me feel sad. Please fix the poboys.
