Excellent food, the most unprofessional, dramatic service! The owners really need to hire a manager to properly train servers and maybe try paying them instead of ripping off their tips I must've seen 40 different servers in 6 months. No wonder they closed. Learn your place!

Fantastic food. Chicken shawarma and lamb were both delicious. Hummus was exceptional. Friendly owner, too!

Absolutely the best in town.

One of our favorite restaurants. We go there often. We like the food the people and the atmosphere. Some of my favorites are their moussaka, hummus, spinach pies, beef shawarma, rack of lamb and lamb shank and and and......

Really good food. Best Mediterranean hummus I've eaten (over the top with extra stuff on it) and lamb kabob generous and delicious. Restaurant is nicely decorated and service is good and friendly.

I never ever have written a review before, but I had to for this case. This was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had, I couldn't believe it. I walk in, they told me to seat myself, so my friend and I found a table. The girl said she would be with us soon, we'll after sitting for 18 minutes exactly, I finally got a menu by a worker that worked in the kitchen. 10 minutes later he comes up to us to ask our drink order. This still isn't our server by the way. She had 1 other table and 2 people at the bar but was so busy to where she couldn't greet us? No. We get the drinks and the drinks are wrong. Finally 20 minutes later the server comes up to us and asks what we would like, we give her the order and instead of putting our order in, she goes and busses tables ( when there are 3 ppl in the restaurant) not needing to at all at that point in time. Then about 10 minutes later I see her put in our order. In the mean time, there was a table next to us that were eating their plates of food but STILL hadn't gotten there drinks..... terrible. I look around again and there was 1 more table that had been waiting for their check for 30 minutes all while this server is just picking up plates from random places instead of checking on the customers and giving their drinks and taking orders. We finally get our food, which was absolutely terrible and over priced for how bad it was. I then see a man at the Togo station yelling frantically about how he waiting 45 minutes for a salad and when he got home it wasn't even a salad. Idk if it's the training they give there or what.... but worst experience ever. I was so embarrassed for this business I couldn't help but literally laugh. Never going back . What a joke

Excellent Lebanese place! This is where I have been going ever since Al Maza closed (RIP). It has become a new favorite! They even offer a lunch buffet during the week that is fun to go to, especially if you are wanting to try new foods without getting a whole dish of something new! The owner is so kind and makes you feel at home and welcome when you go. They also give sizable student discount so cheers to that!

Jordanian is a good option to eat Greek or Lebanese when around the LSU area especially if you are a student. They also give discounts to students which is a really nice touch. They have great chicken shwarma that's got an extra kick to it so it takes a couple of times to get adjusted to but it's so good! They also have great pita and humus that's better than any Lebanese restaurant in the city! I would totally recommend this place for college kids and people in the area.

I've been here a couple times and the wait staff are super friendly and great service. The manager is not friendly at all. I've also seen him go above and beyond for some guest and wouldn't speak to others. There's not a lot of business already so he has the time to at least say “hello” instead of staring in someone's face with disgust. I will not be back.

God this place is so good i always get the chicken or combo plate and it's so good everything is well seasoned and the hummus is so nice and creamy sometimes the gyro or chicken can be a lil dry but that's what the hummus is for also the pitas are great and LSU students get a 10% discount my boyfriend and i have come almost every week since we first tried it

Best little gem around. It's always pretty quiet and empty when we go but the food is NEVER a let down. The Mezza for 2 is all you need to sampled just about everything and have a ton left over for 2 eaters. Want a drink, try the Jordanian Punch, it packs one. This places hands down in quality and flavor beats out every other Greek/Lebanese place in town.

Great little place (used to be Canefield Tavern) with a huge menu. There are lots of vegan/vegetarian options. We enjoyed the falafel, tabbouleh, jalapeí±o hummus (so unique and actually quite spicy), lentils, and eggplant moussaka. All of those are vegan (as is the squash moussaka). The food was good, tasted fresh, and was brought out quickly. My only complaint was that everything was very heavily salted. If possible, I'd ask for them to take it easy on the salt the next time I visit. Service was...awkward...but not so much that we wouldn't come back! The restaurant was also completely empty so I wonder if most people get their food to go or if there's a bigger lunch crowd. Either way, I hope this place sticks around!

UPDATE I stopped by yesterday for lunch and got the Nesser sandwich which is chicken sherwarma & Arabic pickles with special sauce wrapped in a super thin warm pita and served with salad & frys. I subbed the special sauce on the sandwich for tahini and also ordered a extra side of tahini sauce because I love tahini sauce and it's so healthy as well. Ok here it goes there was absolutely no sauce not even 1 drop on the sandwich also only 1 tiny piece of pickle on the entire sandwich and it's a big sandwich wrap then the chicken was so dry it was like little pins and needles in your mouth. It's a shame because a few months back the food here was amazing but there is never any customers when I go so maybe that's what's up. Heating the chicken way to many times drying it out, maybe anyway I probably won't go back because the salad and fry's is all I could eat and of course the fry's were frozen. I'm always on the lookout for new restaurants hoping to find the best food I've ever tasted and OMG this place may possibly be the BESTLebanese I've ever tasted ! We were greeted by a friendly face when we walked thru the door and were seated immediately and the waitress came and got our drink order, we both got Lebanese tea and it was delicious. We had the fried cheese for a appetizer it was cooked to perfection in olive oil with minced garlic and spices and had a few slices of freshly sliced cucumbers and tomatoes it was served with warm pita bread. My friend had the chicken shawarma lunch it came with feta salad, hummus, rice, pita bread and a big portion of chicken shawarma and green sauce. She loved her meal and said it was better than any Lebanese place ever ! I had the Gyro lunch and it came with hummus, Rice, feta salad, Grecian sauce and green sauce. OMG !!! Everything was delicious The salad was so fresh it had crunchy lettuce, the perfect amount of dressing and a ton of feta cheese. The gyro had a fresh taste not like some places that have that heavy strange yucky taste, the hummus tasted fresh as well, the pita was soft and fresh ( taste like they make it fresh ) The green sauce was delicious it was fresh tasting, also came with freshly sliced purple onionThe portions are huge !! You have to come try the food it's delicious and the service was great as well. They also had a full bar and plenty of wines to choose from.
