Food is extremely over priced compared to other Mexican restaurants, “steak” quesadilla comes with roast meat, not steak. Extremely disappointed in that for the price of the “steak” quesadilla.
I wish I could give them 6 stars! The food is so good and authentic. Nothing generic about this place. Incredible margaritas! But their service is what stands out the most. Truly great!

I really enjoyed EVERYTHING about this place!! The drinks and food was so delicious‼️ I can see myself becoming a regular lol.
So, I usually don’t do this, but what happened tonight felt like it could’ve been a great opportunity for humanity. I am visiting Baton Rouge and I was waiting for my little cousin outside of her place of employment in the parking lot of Jovi’s. She was coming out any minute. I have a health condition that makes me have to pee (it’s really annoying and I try very hard not to make it the problem of other people). Anyway, I’m waiting and needing to pee, so I finally decided to go into the neighboring establishment that I figured would have a restroom, which happened to be Jovi’s. My boyfriend accompanied me inside. Upon walking in, I didn’t want to loudly request to use the restroom as there were a few people dining. I tried to meet the host/server as he was gathering menus to ask him for permission. He said I could use the bathroom, so I went and knocked and waited then knocked again. The door was cracked so I pushed it open and two girls were at the sink so I apologized and waited outside the hall to give them space. One of the workers approached me with a card reader, telling me I couldn’t use the restroom unless I bought something. I was a little desperate and in pain from having to pee so I almost just gave him my debit card, but my boyfriend was so disgusted by the lack of humanity that he interjected. Fortunately, my cousin was ready by the time I returned outside and we found a place for me to pee. I understand that places of business don’t owe it to people to allow them to use the restroom, I just found it really gross the way those events transpired.

For several years my family and I have been visiting Jovi's, and I have never had anything less than a stellar experience.Once Jorge learns your name and your order he will never forget you or your order! The wait staff is always super attentive and quick to refill your drinks when they get even half empty.Oh, I haven't even gotten to the food. Y'all. The tacos are absolutely amazing. Don't hesitate to ask the staff for suggestions. They will not steer you wrong! And if you get a chance to try the Mucha papa's, Don't pass it up!Next time that you are looking for specialty tacos, go to Jovi's Tacos!

Went here yesterday for lunch. Been here a few times. The service is always prompt and friendly -- they refilled my drink many times and checked on me frequently. The food might be a little pricey but it tastes homemade to me. The cantina beans are my favorite side and I love most of their tacos. They really fill their tacos -- you don't feel like they skimped out on anything in them. 5/5 would recommend
