Food was spot on. Great service and our waiter had only worked there a week. He was knowledgeable about the food and it came out quickly. We loved the ambience. It was cozy and romantic.

Unique and varied menu, fresh ingredients deliciously prepared at a very reasonable price - we loved it. My only complaint is that the lighting is too low. We had to use out cell phones to read the menu. It won't keep me from coming back but I'd appreciate a bit more light.

Great night out with our teen kids. Service was attentive and friendly. Loved the hummus; shrimp wontons weren't our favorites. Mushroom soup, sensation salad, filet, and fried chicken were all great. Scallops just ok. Drinks were delicious. Would definitely go back!

I just wanted a nice place to meet my siblings. I saw a commercial for Kalurah St. Grill the night before and figured why not. It was a beautiful experience. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. I would definitely recommend going to this restaurant.

Brought my friend who had never been to Baton Rouge, my daughter, and her boyfriend who was celebrating a birthday. Service was great and food was excellent. My daughter's boyfriend has a severe allergy and the chef came out to talk to us about what he could do for his birthday dessert. That meant so much to all of us that he took time out to come talk to us. The cobbler was VERY much enjoyed! Thank you to everyone who made our experience unforgettable!

We were very impressed with Kalurah Street Grill. We had visited for brunch, but this was our first time trying the dinner service. The ambiance is cool, and the patrons were a mixed group. Our waiter was really on top of things. The cocktails were delicious, and the food was terrific. We had the grilled octopus, shrimp wontons, and salmon flatbread for appetizers, and the Parmesan-encrusted halibut was probably the best tasting fish I've ever had. We enjoyed a nice Reisling with the food. All around, a wonderful meal!

We went on a slow night, and our waiter was very attentive. The food was actually better than I thought it would be. Some of the items we got were somewhat on the spicy side. They menu has a very global approach, which is very different from the usual South Louisiana fare. We got the smoked shrimp wontons. The filling was really good with a bit of a kick. I got the Salmon with a curry sauce and jasmine rice - I'm still thinking about it as it was really unexpectantly good. Hubby got the fried chicken with a spicy habanero sauce, which he liked, but was still hungry afterward. Wine and cocktail selection were pretty good. We will likely go back because I'm hungry just thinking about that salmon.

This is an absolute hidden gem! The food is phenomenal and very good price point! Everyone in my party loved what they ordered. The shrimp wontons were incredible off the appetizer menu. The mushroom and leek soup I was told was delicious. The scallops, shrimp pad Thai, and Lamb shank over pappardelle pasta were standout dishes! Wine prices were spot on as well! Can't say enough nice things about this place!

I had the most amazing lunch yesterday at Kalurah Street Grill - I'm still thinking about the shrimp pad thai - it was delicious. The food, atmosphere, and service is always great. If you haven't been to K Street, you're missing out. I can't wait to go back!

The food was fabulous. The service was amazing. The atmosphere was splendid. The tempura fried cauliflower is some of the best cauliflower I've ever had. 10/10 would recommend.I will be back... soon.

Where to begin? Beautiful space. Welcoming staff. Attentive service. Any cocktail imaginable. Then the food comes... absolutely delicious, well crafted plates. We were blown away. Truly a wonderful experience.

First off the food here is delicious. But what really amazed me about this place was the commitment of the staff to make sure our experience was good. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai and we had been sat somewhat close to closing time. At that point they were out of shrimp unfortunately, but after a little longer wait for our food, my meal still came out with shrimp. Turns out the chef left the restaurant to go to the market just to get me shrimp to make sure my meal was correct. And let me tell you it was so so good.

One of the most underrated dining establishments in the city. Chef Patrick and his staff put something special in everything from fried chicken to sea scallops; appetizers to desert (the carrot cake will change your life!). Nothing ordinary from the kitchen - or the bar/wine list - from under the overpass!

Kalurah Street Grill is my favorite Baton Rouge restaurant. It had been a while since we went there. We went with another couple, and everyone ordered different salads and entrees. They were all excellent; wonderful place. Good service, too.
