im so sad this place closed. the best sushi ever and the chinese food was so good. my favorite part of lsu. i hope they reopen sometime.
Koi is always a rememberable Chinese restaurant providing yummy authentic Chinese food. It is quite near the LSU campus so very walkable for a lunch/dinner if you are at LSU. Sadly though it was closed early this year where I heard the rumor that the chief chef had retired and his son did not want to follow his father's footstep to become a terrific chef at Koi. I just finger crossed that one day there would be another sweet Chinese restaurant at the same location!
Never had sushi before and been addicted every since I tried it
We were given glasses of water that smelled like dirty mop water. I tipped my finger in it and it tasted bleachy. I told the server that our water smelled and tasted off. He said there was nothing wrong with it. Then he just looked at me and smiled. Horrifying experience.
Simply the best plated Chinese food in Baton Rouge. And the sushi is spectacular!
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but Koi has the best kung pao chicken in the world. Soooo good. I moved far away a decade ago, and I still try to come back to Koi anytime I’m in town. I’m always delighted to see the restaurant still open for business. Be warned it is spicy, but I love that. It is one of my top 5 restaurant dishes of all time (and I eat more in a month than most people do in a year!)
the girl worker is super sweet and provides great service! the food was also quick and good!
Very good food amazing service will put it on my to do list again thank you for a very good experience

Amazing location amazing food, fairly quick service for sushi. A hidden gem of LSU campus surroundings.
Great food, friendly staff, and fast service at a reasonable price.
Love this place. I always get cumin chicken and gyoza dumplings. They also have very good sushi collection. Totally worth the visit.
Was in the area and stopped in for lunch. Very nice atmosphere and polite staff. The food was delicious! Will be back to try more!
What a gem! Everything we had was delicious. Great service and very clean. Don't let the exterior fool you (it looks like a dive from the outside). This place should always be busy.
