Order to go carnita asade . Meat tasted like plastic with zero seasoning. If you enjoy nursing home food, this is your place. Awful. Won’t be back.

I’m very impressed with the ambience and food. The temperature was excellent and the flavor was right on point. I would happily dine here again.

Great place for Mexican food. Thier fried ice cream was very tasty. I only got dessert, but everyone at my table who got dinner enjoyed it. Reasonable prices too.

Went there to pick up an early lunch for a DoorDash order. Employees were nice and got me out of there relatively quickly.
Parking: Lots of parking but they are doing something with Bluebonnet right now and have it down to one lane. Actually made it easier to make a left out of this parking lot.

Our usual spot because it’s close to our house but ever since the prices have gone up the food quality has gone done. $16 for dinner and the shredded chicken is made with these seed like things that are inedible and I just have to pick out of my mouth and sit to the side tonight the refried beans were awful I was definitely thinking it and then my partner said the same thing aloud. Also don’t think a small queso should be $7 and some change anywhere.

We had been fans of La Caretta on Bluebonnet for many years but sadly the current management team has run the restaurant into the ground. It's simply not the same restaurant it once was. My food tonight was served cold and was uneatable. My wife's food was served luke warm but was bland and tasted of chemicals. The staff was slow and disinterested throughout. Tonight will be our last visit. There are simply too many better options available in the area now.

Our waitress Cheyenne was Awesome!
Answered all of our questions accurately. And checked on us often. Had great suggestions! The Mangoritas that go on Happy Hour at 3pm were perfect! Had so much food! Had to bring 1/2 of it home! Delicious!

The service was terrible, to be honest. We came with a group of people and were treated like a huge inconvenience even though the restaurant was not very crowded. Our orders were mixed up and took a long time to come out. Many people in our party had to ask for their drinks after waiting 30+ minutes. After I ordered a second margarita, the server literally threw a towel across the room in frustration. Extremely unprofessional. And everyone in our party was polite, not rowdy, and tips well. I just don't get why they'd treat us this way!

I ordered three tacos. According to the menu on their site, they are $3.75 a piece. I get there to pick up my order and the guy charged me $4.50 per taco then argued with me that I was looking at the wrong menu….even though I was looking at the price on THEIR WEBSITE. Did nothing to accommodate or compensate. Did not like the service here and will not be back.

I've had Tacos El Carbon at many places let's start off with the homemade tortillas which had no taste whatsoever which would be okay if it was to compliment what was inside but it also was flavorless. The meat had no seasoning whatsoever to on top.of it was raw tasteless onions sprinkled on top. I would for 50 something dollars you would think you would have a fantastic meal, even mediocre. I've gone to much cheaper places and had better tasting food than at this place.
