Las Peñitas Restaurant

I have enjoyed my multiple experiences at this restaurant for both lunch and dinner. the food is good, especially for the price The pizza's are actually delicious the staff are super kind.......and a special shout out to Juanita who remembers what I like and is always smiling and laughing. I also love how the neighbourhood dogs come to hang out here and don't beg, but humbly wait for some pizza crust to come their way.....its a super cute vibe and they have live music on Saturday nights which is great too perfect spot on the beach to let a few hours slip by I recommend !!! my only negative is that the music from the speakers is unnecessarily loud....especially at lunchtime.....

Claudia is the best server in all of Nicaragua. What a gem! The seafood was great, and the dessert - good chocolate and good ice cream (which seems so hard to find here)! Can't wait to go back. On the beach, great music. Nothing to critique.

Only good things to mention. Gorgeous location at the beach. Good food. Great cocktails. Lovely ambiance.

Top points for locale. I had the burger, very respectable. GF had the curry and wasn't impressed. Staff promptly offered a replacement and a free glass of wine. We were very impressed. No reason to deduct stars here. Romantic spot, for sure.

Very nice setting of this restaurant right in the beach. Great to catch a beautiful sunset. We enjoyed the pizza and seafood platter. Service is very friendly too and arranged our taxi back to Leon.

Claudia and Marlon are super friendly and helpful. It is refreshing to get thoughtful suggestions. The ceviche is very good and they were more than willing to make it without onions for me. The grilled fish was fresh, cooked perfectly and delicious

We went there during lunch time. Everything in beachfront and in the sand. The restaurant is clean . What about the food...! Its was AWSOME ! I took a vegetarian burger which was probably the best vegetarian burger i had in my life. My girlfriend finally found those fish tacos she has been looking for since she had some in mexico ! Fresh and lightly fried white fish with some fresh vegetables. For 1 HUGE vegetarian burger, 3 fish tacos and 2 beers, we paid 16$ canadian dollars (approx 13USD) which we think is really cheap ! Staff is friendly and are there for all your demand ! Will go back for sure !

Man im homduran love hiapanic food visit every hispanic food within a 100 miles of me to find the best hispanic food out there but i came in and got a carne asada taco and a baliada con todo and very disappointed the tortilla in the taco beaing hand made made for the lack in the flavor of the food and the baliada really disappointed me as in only had 3 thin slices of avocado and the torilla was not soft or flexible more like a tostada do not recomend if you come in its youre loss i already did and extremely disappointed✖✖✖❌❌❌

These guys knows what service is. The best customer service that we have received in Nicaragua. The Curry delicious, the rice was missing some of the flavors mentioned in the description. Free Salsa and bachata classes on Fridays, fun!

We came here two nights in a row because we liked it so much. Great, inexpensive food and drinks. Fun atmosphere with free salsa lessons on Fridays and live music of Saturdays.
