Coffee, biscuits, potato hash, grits were incredible. Links are small and a bit dry. Definitely will be going back!

This is basically a Baton Rouge version of Waffle House on LSU’s campus. We visited on game day, so there was about a 30 minute wait. I ordered the combo #1. This combo included two eggs, a sausage patty, hash-browns, and I ordered French toast for a up-charge. This restaurant has a simple concept, but everything was very good.

I have been eating at Louie's since the early 2000s. Now that im older and moved back it's one of my favorite spots. Biscuits are always fluffy and so good, hash browns with seasoning and onions and peppers are probably my favorite thing their!!! Add a side of Bacon and it's definitely a win. Service is always great and food comes out really quick. 😋

Very Disliked the breakfast here. The gravy tasted very nasty! The potatoes we're very Cajun and left a bad taste in your mouth. The spinach inside the omelet was gross! Yeah, definitely wouldn't recommend or go back here. But, Service was Great!
Classic college town breakfast cafe.

Great little breakfast/ lunch, Cafe.
Walked in and walked out. Very bad smell like a dirty mop. Floors sticky.
Louie’s is one of those places that just feels like home. The smell of the griddle, the clatter of plates, the familiar faces behind the counter—it’s comfort food in every sense of the word. The Mitchell is still my favorite, and the pancakes are somehow both fluffy and filling. Everything’s made fresh, portions are generous, and the staff always makes you feel welcome. I do miss the 24-hour service—that was part of the magic—but even with reduced hours, Louie’s holds on to its charm. It’s not just a meal, it’s a memory. A Baton Rouge classic that still delivers.
Excellent atmosphere. Excellent service. The food was AMAZING! It was a very busy mid morning, but worth every minute. The bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit is now my favorite, with a side of chocolate chip pancakes! Can’t wait to go back!
