The person who takes the orders is very friendly. The food came out quick. The sandwich has tofu eggs, some kind of sausage and then a cream cheese sauce on really tasty bread. They also have vegan grits but I didn’t try those. They have a vegan and gf cookie, a non gf vegan cookie, and a brownie. The atmosphere is great #Veganuary

The vegan breakfast sandwich was delicious but not very big if you're hungry.

SUCH. A great breakfast sandwich. No clue what was in it since it was the only vegan one I didn’t read. Make sure to go early in time for the vegan pastries! They were out by the time I got there (but there was a Taylor Swift concert this weekend so maybe that’s why). Honestly breakfast sandwich was so good and filling I wouldn’t even have room for a cake. Great coffee too

Magpie is one of the best cafes I’ve ever been to. Staff is always friendly, atmosphere is excellent, and they do a great job of mixing up their brewed coffee selection. Also highly recommend an iced oat milk latte.

Passing through Louisana and we decided to have breakfast here. Loved the ambiance, the staff are friendly, nice and helpful.
We loved everything we ate, the goat cheese biscuit (which was recommended) , the sausage egg casserole, the ham quiche, it was all very delicious.

I ❤️ that they have vegan breakfast options and allergy friendly muffins.

The coffee for my taste was a bit on the softer acidic side. But that's a personal preference of mine. I am a coffee addict and I prefer the bolder expresso.

My husband and I loved the experience and wish the cafe all the best ?.

P.s. we loved the biscuits that we took 2 to go.

When people think of coffee shops in BR, they may think Highland or Garden District. Ever since I helped manage Frankie’s Dawg House, before Stuart sold it, I used to go into Magpie daily for the cold brew. I haven’t been to this place for 8 years. They always have the most attentive and interested workers. The best baked goods. Magpie is amazing still, after all of these years! The tomato + herb goat cheese frittata was amazing. As well as the blueberry almond stitch!!

Kassidy, the barista, and the young man with deep voice receiving guests orders were amazing. Great personalities. Great vibe and energy. Very polite and grateful. The coffee was wonderful, the food…ok. Overall I’d still give it 5Stars because of the friendly and warm smiles. Contagious ?
