I just visited for the first time today, and I will definitely be back. The service was fast and friendly, and the food (ground beef burrito) was excellent!
I've been eating at Marina's for 20 years now. at least once a week. try the grilled chicken breast. It's the best I've ever had. no one else can compare. I love the small quiet atmosphere where I can actually enjoy the company I am with. the family that owns the restaurant may not be mexican, but make some great Mexican dishes, proving you don't have to be Mexican to cook the food. The family is wonderful, friendly, and very hard workers! I highly recommend that you try Marina's!!!
Not as big as I expected but GREAT FOOD in a relaxing atmosphere with easy listening salsa music. The one guy working in the front today was all over it. No complaints-you won't leave hungry. I do have a suggestion however, which I will be happy to discuss privately.

Marinas Mexican Grill is a decent little place with a single server and cook. The food is not overly salty, a welcome change in Baton Rouge. The chips and salsa are perfect, and the guacamole is delicious. The fish fajita is a highlight, and the server is prompt and courteous. However, the prices may be steep, with some meals feeling overpriced for the portion size. Despite this, the restaurant has its loyal customers who will return for a taste of its authentic Mexican dishes.
