Best sushi in town in Baton Rouge! The sushi is delicious, not too strong and not too bland. And the salmon and tuna is thick and fresh. Service is excellent, the food came in no time. Very recommended place to get a fresh sushi, much better than instant sushi you get in other restaurants.Dietary restrictions: No pork

Says it’s open for lunch. The doors were unlocked. But absolutely no one came out when we arrived. I shouted “hello” with no response. Place looked abandoned. My first and last trip. ??‍♂️

My favorite place but the last 3 times I’ve gone, they did not give us the free shrimp that comes with the hibachi. We pay a good bit for that, so it’s surprising that they always do not include it. Please remind your hibachi chefs that free shrimp is included when we pay for hibachi.

I have been going to Nagoya for years & years. Loved Rudy the Hibachi chef that retired.Sad to say this place has become a dump. It’s dirty, uninviting, Hibachi chef is not entertaining. The food is bland. Me, my son & his girlfriend went for dinner. We were the only people in there. They asked if they could sit 2 more people at our Hibachi table & we said yes. The Hibachi chef piled the food on the 2 other guest plates, specifically one of them & my son got literal scraps. I asked to speak with the manager who proceeded to argue with me when clearly you could see the difference in the amount of food given to each person. He said they would go in the back & cook my son more food. I said no we aren’t waiting for that & I want you to acknowledge the fact that my son has scraps & you couldn’t even see the white of this ladies plate. I said I wanted his dinner compted, which he refused to do & proceeded to take my son’s plate & set it on the bar. I have never been treated so badly & like I was in the wrong for speaking up. I will never walk through the doors of this place ever again & sad to say my family celebrates Birthdays & Anniversary’s here. Never again. They lost all our business & long time customers.Way better Hibachi places that actually value their customers & from the looks of it Nagoya needs every customer they can get. ????

Avoid this place at all cost! If you do decide to eat here make sure to check your check...the prices are not correct and they try to justify it by taking 10% off....negative....make sure you double check or ask for an updated menu (which they don't have).

They still have good food, but the restaurant has seen better days. It used to be a fun place to take my family for hibachi, but for the last few years the atmosphere has gone flat. Perhaps due to the awkward side entrance and abandoned main entrance. Given it’s location they could easily turn it back into the attraction it once was.

Me and the fiancée made a spur of the moment reservation for 7pm tonight(9/7). Walked inside and immediately just felt nasty (like the floor inside of a circle k). The floor was sticky, and there was a smell. I could not, for the life of me, figure out what it was. Walked to the hostess stand to be seated and was immediately confronted by a crack head who asked for some cash. I really wish i was lying it surprised us both. One of the sushi chefs handed her some cash, im assuming just to make her leave. She then began to walk around and ask other customers for money as well.Despite my intuition we decided to sit at the hibachi table. I immediately noticed the silver ware and plates we’re disgusting. We sat for about 20 minutes and waited for someone to take a drink order or something, never happened.Don’t have anything further to say because we decided to leave.Food might be great. But given the experience and atmosphere we decided to leave.

Great place to eat! Looks a little questionable when first coming in, but the food is delicious. I ate the chicken, shrimp, steak hibachi and it was all delicious

I had a party of 12 for my husband’s birthday this past Saturday on 3/18/23 @ 6pm. We got the hibachi grill . We waited a little for the chef but when he came he was entertaining and funny. He gave some people the wrong food and forgot a few things but that’s okay. My main thing is there was only one other group before the restaurant had booked other big parties. Our service was horrible!! We were there well over 2 hrs. and it took around 20 min to even receive the bill and boxes. My husband and I shared a water. They had no mixed drinks only shots and no juices. I’ve gotten mixed drinks there many of times before. She told me they only had beer. She told me the name of the beers than after I ordered she came back to say they were out. She never picked up our plates , never checked on us , and we had to go up to her to pay the bill. She only had 2 parties including our table and the other party was there before us so that means they waited almost 3 hrs. I will not return again with a big party especially for someone’s birthday. They knew it bc we mentioned it so they should have tried harder and where was the manager. They can’t see how long we have been out there waiting and the party before us.

The hibachi was good. But as far as entree’s go, I got the fried chicken and it had NO seasoning lol very bland chicken. Wasn’t very good. But the fried rice and teriyaki chicken was pretty good. Would recommend just getting a different entree if you do go. People were nice as well. Funny chefs, entertaining.

Awesome teppanyaki. Our chef was a great cook and showman. This was my grandsons first time and they loved it. I've eaten at Benihana's many times and others over the years but this is the best performance feast I've seen. Our chef joked with us and engaged my grandsons in all the fun, adding some things I've never seen done before. This is a lot of great food so you'll most likely be taking home enough for lunch or dinner the next day. And this meal has an extra bonus of noodles, which has never been included at the other restaurants I've dined!! There was a birthday party at one of the cooking tables when we arrived and they were extremely amused and pleased with the food and the show. Definitely a great place to celebrate.
