Always 5 stars. Hometown donuts are the best donuts. I grew up eating Mary Lee donuts on Sunday after church and every single time I’m back in Baton Rouge, I make sure to get 2 glazed, hot from the fryer.
The reviews here are 100 percent accurate. Some of the softest fluffy glazed doughnuts I've ever had. My family loved them. Will definitely be back. The staff was very friendly.
No frills donut shop with excellent standard donuts. You won't find exotic products here but you will find what you expect and it will be well done. The apple fritters are particularly good if that's your jam.
