I love Maxwell's, we eat there at least once a week, sometimes 2. We buy 95% of our meat there, however they are not as good as they used to be. French fries used to be cooked and seasoned, last couple of times the they are raw and/or greasy and no seasoning. I was so looking forward to the fries today.

Supper Club on Wednesday’s is the best!

Got a whole muffaletta sandwich. When I got home, there was two slices of meat on the sandwich usually a very good place to eat but sure was not this time. Was very disappointing.

My mom has Can er and this is the only place that she can stomach at this time. I absolutely hands down love the Chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries, mom too. The staff is so friendly and hospitable. Always a nice crew!

Slow service, 30 min for a take out order. Also, my order was not correct - wrap did not have half of the ingredients that was listed.

The cashiers are going to run this place into the ground. Rude and unfriendly. If you’re going to hire kids at least train them to have a good attitude toward your customers.

One of the best flavors of Baton Rouge - Maxwell's Market Crab & Brie Dip. It is just about perfect. Look I'll travel from Southeastern Baton Rouge to Calvin's for their chicken salad and I would do the same for my crab dip. This stuff is great but addictive. I love it on crackers or especially a toasted bagel. Might make you forget the lox and cream cheese. Might.

The store on Highland Road is not the best store. They are not friendly nor are they considerate of the customer. This review is not based on one visit but more like 20. They are close to my home and I now only get take out. The BEST store is the Perkins Rd. They are alway friendly and extremely helpful and obliging to the customers. I will drive the entrance 5 miles for their service anytime.

$10 for a Hamburger that is average. Have eaten here hundreds of times. Probably never again, or at least not a hamburger for sure. Basically cost $20 for an average hamburger, fries and a drink.

Slow service. Also, I didn't see anyone in the kitchen wearing a head covering or hairnet while preparing food. That's a health code violation right?

Great little deli tucked into an equally quaint grocer. Good selection of sandwiches and salads. Personal favorites are their Reuben and French Dip sandwiches!
