Quick service. They cook boiled crawfish. The fried oysters (took about 10 min). While waiting I added crayfish, potatoes, corn.

I’ve came here a couple of times to purchase crawfish, the first and second time was ok, the 3rd and 4th time everything was on point the spice level was great they were cleaned and juicy it was so good I had to tell them y’all whoever been boiling the past few days keep them in the kitchen!! But omg the last 2 times the crawfish were dirty and flavor was trash made me sick to my stomach I was highly upset! It’s always a hit and miss with them! Don’t think I’m returning at all!

I really wanted to love Mom's Seafood on Greenwell Springs, especially after hearing so many good things. Unfortunately, my visit didn’t quite meet expectations. The wait was a bit longer than anticipated, and when our food arrived, the crawfish seemed to be under-cleaned, with a gritty texture and not much flavor or spice. It lacked the usual juicy, seasoned kick I was hoping for. The potatoes and corn also fell a bit flat — the potatoes were bland, and the corn was a little too hard to enjoy.

I appreciate the friendly service and the local charm, but I’m hoping this was just an off day. I’d love to give it another try down the line, especially if the seasoning and prep improve.

It was okay shrimp was kinda dry eggs weren't good and juicy like some places have them. It was okay I guess bc your able to use LA purchase to buy. Best thing about it other than that they really have fell off their taste game.

Their hot plates are good , but the crawfish are a hit or miss… it’s been making me sick to my stomach lately. Very disappointed.

Good crawfish

I honestly don’t think they need to sell crawfish after this year. I’m not sure which was worse; the nasty flavor from the crawfish or the multitudes of dead crawfish. Whatever “new seasoning” y’all trying to come up with, please stop and go back to the original seasoning. The crawfish was terrible, not even sucking the head was enjoyable due to the lack of flavor and seasoning. I think I’ll stick with University Seafood or somewhere else besides Mom’s Seafood.

On 1-6-2024 /9:20 pm Went to buy A few plates. I was going to spin up to $80-$100 in store.The cashier was so rude to me when I was trying to ask him questions about certain items .I just turned around and left employees need to be trained on customer service. I guess I’ll be going back to Tony’s seafood!

Haven't been disappointed yet and I've been coming here for 3 years now. Boiled seafood is seasoned very well. Gumbo is GUMBO. Red beans are creamy and delicious. Personal favorite would have to be the spicy wings and the Drip juices. Bathrooms are clean. GET THE CORNBREAD!!!

Good job no the food

When I first started coming here there crawfish was good but the last few times I just dont know anymore. Crawfish taste gritty and my turkey neck was way too salty. There was also a lot of dead crawfish in the pile was well. Depending who is working some of the girls have an attitude. I think I will just stay away from crawfish for a while.

They have everything you can think of! Hot plates, seafood, poboys, drinks and now they have gas! Best seafood around!

The food is always good here. I've been coming since they opened. "Mom" definitely knows what she's doing in that kitchen. The staff is kind and ready to serve. The food is always seasoned well and fresh. Especially the greens...my favorite.
