Spaghetti and meatballs with a glass of iced tea perfect.

Monjunis never disappoints! Their lasagna is a comforting classic, and the Italian margarita is the perfect pairing. Tonight, we ventured into the fried lasagna appetizer, and it was simply divine!

Found this lil gem one night on our way to the Texas club the meatballs were amazing and the wife and I shared a lasagna plate then had a turtle cheesecake and almond cream pie. We will definitely be back!

I thought the food was going to be so good with all the awesome things I've heard about it. I just did not like the taste of the spaghetti sauce at all. The fettuccine was bland with absolutely no flavor, the shrimp were disgusting and I will never be back there

When I tell you I've never been to an Italian restaurant, but to go here for the first time they set the bar really hight. The authentic Italian cuisine, the family feel ( mainly because of atmosphere and how everyone greets you) and so romantic. I've been back twice and this is my new spot. I would say more but I don't want to have to start making reservations to get in... Lol

I would give the food a 5 star, but the sause was sooo sweat. You get a tremendous serving. I had the spaghetti and meatballs, and hubby got the same. Company had lasagna, which was about 4-5" sq. 4 layers of noodles, sause, and cheese. The atmosphere was very old-fashioned, with plastic grapes hanging from the ceiling. Felt cozy. Beautiful looking desserts. I ate half and brought the rest home. I really liked the quartered eggplant slices with sause. That was really good. The staff was really nice. Recommend if you like a cozy authentic Italian meal.

We loved going here but this experience wasn't that great- food wasn't fresh service was bare minimum because she rather sit and play on the phone and we felt like a nuisance. Out of the many times we have been there this was the worst experience.

Always an amazing experience! Monjunis isn't a large place, but the portions are! Guaranteed leftovers for later but that's why we keep coming back, we know what we're getting for our money and it's always easy to pick her over other places. Food is always delicious, never had a bad dish come out even though they come out fast. The lasagne is my personal favourite! Staff are always super welcoming and attentive even when it's busy. Relaxing atmosphere, plenty of lovely decor to look at so you never feel awkward. Absolutely recommend coming here if you're looking for delicious pasta dishes!

Finally tried Monjunis. Very disappointed with the frozen tortellini. If it wasn't frozen, it sure seemed like it. No flavor and hard to chew. Almost no cheese in shell. I think it was $15. A coworker felt the same about hers.

Went here for the first time for my son's birthday. It is a very crowded space as they are trying to fit as many people as possible.

Service is about average. Went without refills for a little while a couple of times. However we drink a lot and they were small glasses. But overall, she was very kind and got it done.

The food was good. My son enjoyed his spaghetti. Their red sauce is a bit sweeter than some places, but we all enjoyed it.

They do bring out bread, but we didn't know until after we ordered breadsticks, so we had LOTS of carbs. Haha.

They did bring a bread pudding, but they do not do anything as far as singing for birthdays, just in case you are curious. Haha.

Will likely return, but I definitely want to be sure it's during slower hours next time.

Exquisite menu. I wanted all of the desserts. Mama's sauce is the best in Baton Rouge.
