I've been looking for some good fried fish.around the area because our usual go-to's have fallen short of good lately. Montalbanos was great! It was exactly what I was looking for. I got the fish and shrimp basket and my husband got the shrimp basket. The shrimp were a tad well done but still ok, but the fish was perfect. I will definitely go back!

I highly recommend Randy Montalbano’s Seafood! Everything I had was delicious. My favorite is the boiled Shrimp. I especially loved the potato salad. Excellent service always and the friendliest staff.

One of my co-workers suggested Montalbano's for lunch. I hadn't been in a few years, but I remembered the food being decent. I ordered the trio box, which came with fish, shrimp, oysters, fries and potato salad. The fried seafood was cooked nicely, but a little on the salty side. The potato salad was AWFUL, it had very intense flavor to it, which tasted like poison to me.

I also ordered a whole fried catfish, because I couldn't decide on what I wanted to eat. The fish had no seasoning on it, which was strange because the other seafood I had was almost over-seasoned. When I first tried the fish, I noticed a somewhat foul taste. I thought maybe I just needed to add some seasoning to it. After trying it again after adding the seasoning, I realized from the taste and smell that the fish was most likely spoiled. I couldn't even attempt to swallow it and had to spit it out in the trash.

I was very disappointed with this visit. I literally wasted $27 on lunch that I couldn't even eat and enjoy. If you're wondering if I ate the trio box, no I didn't. It was just too salty, however, as mentioned earlier; the seafood was cooked nicely and wasn't spoiled like the whole catfish.

I have lived in south Louisiana all my life I live in saint amant and I will drive to br for their shrimp poboy it is the best I have eaten. And it is my go to at most places. It was great. I highly recommend

Montalbano’s catered our 2025 family reunion. We had family come from different states and the food was a hit without any complaints. To satisfy different tastes across different states is hard to do and Montalbano’s succeeded at it. Family members were talking about the food the next day saying how everything was nice and how they enjoyed it. We will be using Montalbano’s again without a doubt. Montalbano's has catered company's crawfish boil every year for 6 or 7 years and it is always great. We had our boil today and it was probably the best crawfish I ever had. The corn and potatoes were just right and the crawfish were extra large. As usual, they were very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to next April for our next crawfish boil.
