Tavern on the Green on an Everything Bagel. Yes please! Delicious sandwiches. Good breakfast, too.

Really disappointed in NY bagel. I loved the location when it was off of lee and never had a bad experience. The past two times I’ve gone to the new highland location I received terrible service. This most recent time the kid couldn’t be bothered to look up from his phone or remove his AirPod to place my order. I spent over 50$ for myself and my wife to have breakfast and they messed up my order and couldn’t even address their guest in an appropriate manner. Very disappointed and it takes a lot to upset me.

Burnt croissant, dry burnt bacon and covered in butter. Ordered a peppermint latte and got a very bitter unsweet coffee instead. Disappointed after spending $14

I just ordered a SoHo bagel from here and it was missing the Caeasr dressing, making the bagel very dry. I always have to double-check my food here.. 50% of the time they have made a mistake. Also, the service is not great. They need to do a better job of hiring or training (or both). The young boy essentially plopped my To-Go bag of food in front of me -- no manners either.

Good food but I’ll pass on the conservative propaganda that was being played across the entire restaurant.

We were moving our son into LSU college housing and never knew about this bagel shop until we drove by. Stopped in for a bakers dozen fresh bagels. The great news is they close at 8 pm and we were there at 3 o’clock; we were able to get fresh bagels baked that morning. They bake them fresh every morning!! The bagels are delicious and whenever we visit our son this is where we will be picking up bagels to bring back home. They make sandwiches, it’s more than just a bagel shop. Friendly staff. And they were very mindful of separating the sweet bagels from the savory bagels in separate bags.

I asked for an Asiago bagel with cream cheese and a ceaser salad to go. I tried to bit into the bagel and it was so hard that I couldn’t even take a bite, I had to tear it so hard to try and eat it. I thought the ceaser salad would have been okay, but they gave me the wrong dressing. I started eating the salad and the lettuce tasted unwashed. They couldn’t have been distracted or busy because I was the only one in there. I thought I was going to get a nice bagel and salad, but it ended up being a $16 nightmare. Wtf New York bagel.

Rude employees
Probably would have given it better rating but they had a sign on the door saying they were closed because of electrical problems until the 7th. Yet for some reason people were still able to order online and it caused a great deal of stress for some unfortunate peoples

If there was a way to give 10 stars I would. This is a little hidden sweet gem with a New York flair. The atmosphere was so inviting the minute we walked through the front door. The building was definitely made for this place. It had indoor and outdoor seating. The gentleman that took our order knew what was very knowledgeable on the menu and what they has to offer. The bagels were fresh and had a nice selection. I got the turkey with Applewood bacon on sundried tomatoes bagel. All the flavors married so perfectly. With a side of bagel chips and cream cheese made this the perfect lunch. The prices are very reasonable and I definitely got full. Special thanks to Jay Gomez for bringing a little New York to the City of Baton Rouge.
