I cannot reccomend ninos enough. Our server was Drew and he was simply amazing. He was attentive, had great menu knowledge, and was in general very personable. He made me feel super comfortable and welcome. The manager was helpful as well. The food was amazing I was in no way disappointed by my evening here. I wish I was better with words so I could articulate how amazing my dining experience was.

Very excited for our first visit to what was touted as the best Italian restaurant in Baton Rouge.I must say that I was more than disappointed. The service was so so, the restaurant is small sparsely decorated and the food was hit or miss. They do have a nice concise wine list.My wife had a spicy pasta dish that she enjoyed.I however, had the Pescatore which consisted of Gulf shrimp, mussels, fish of the day, sea scallop and lump crab tossed in citrus herb butter and marinara on fresh pasta. I added the spinalis dorsi ribeye cap steak, known as the most tender cut of steak. The dish was all over the place… the fish was excellent and the mussels were good. However, steak was tough and chewy, the pasta was ok and the scallops actually had an off taste and were probably not fresh. After eating the scallops I could not finish my meal.Very disappointing. Definitely not on my BR favorite list.

If you want to feel like you’re in Italy, you must try the pasta Bolognese. This cozy little restaurant is absolutely one of the best I’ve ever been in. The service is outstanding, and the food is beyond words.

Food is about as interesting as the decor. It feels like it trying to be more boujee than it can justify. Highly overrated restaurant.

Place is nice and cozy, host was nice but I got a to go order and it was rather small like the size of a TV dinner. I ate the bread so I ended up being kinda full. The pescatore was $31 dollars in total but really should have been around $20 in my opinion. The flavor was pretty good although the tiny piece of fish was a bit dried out. I included a photo.

The best restaurant in Louisiana! Get the ribeye and pasta special which includes whatever is fresh from the local farm that week. It is the best meal I've ever had each time. Consistently delicious unique flavors

Despite living 2 minutes from here, after years of hearing from almost everyone that Nino’s is one of their favorite restaurants, we finally were able to make a reservation and check the place out. Boy, are we glad we did! We absolutely loved everything we ordered! Seriously, the food was so good! The Alfredo parmigiana was amazing as well as the daily special (ribeye and pasta with goat cheese sauce??). Also, the Gnocchi was AMAZING.I’m not a huge tiramisu fan in general, but the panna cotta was light, airy and yummy as dessert as well.Basically, we now see what all the hype is about, and the experience was made even better by our awesome, super chill waitress too.The only negative I can think of is that the decor is a little meh and you can’t help but to tell that you are in a suite in a shopping center. If these guys ever had a place like Louisiana Lagniappe or Bin 77 or maybe even just worked on the decor a bit more to build more of a “vibe”, it’d be hands down the best place in town.Kid-friendliness: We didn’t bring our kids this time, but if you have kids 7+ who can be kind of chill, I see no reason why they couldn’t come along to this restaurant. No idea if a kid menu though.

Certainly in my top 5 restaurants in town. Wife and I love coming here when we are looking for a more cozy, elegant dinner. Everything is wonderful, but be sure to get a soup... trust me.
