I went to Nola Seafood on 10/10/2025 and purchased boiled meat and potatoes and that’s all I ate that day! On 10/11/2025 I woke up vomiting and a bad stomach ache . Come to find out I had food poisoning!! I will never go back again! That was my 1st and last time.

If you want some great deals on seafood, you need to go there. If you love good boiled food, you need to go there, unless you don't do spicy, otherwise give them a try. They also sale live crawfish. They are only takeout, so if you are looking for a place with good seafood that you can pick up and go home, try NOLA Cajun Seafood.
I ordered a grilled shrimp salad and had to wait 15 minutes for it. Not a problem. However when I got home and opened it up the salad was fine but the shrimp was dried out and burnt. I ate the salad but I gave the shrimp to the dog. So disappointed
Almost forgot. I called them to tell them what the problem was and they said if I returned the plate they would reimburse me my money for it.
Been coming to nolas for years on the strength i grew up eating here its in the area i grew up in. When nolas is right, THEY RIGHT! But when they’re wrong they’re big wrong. My biggest issue with nolas is the inconsistency. It’s nothing wrong with the spicy & hot crawfish, but i miss the days when they were more seasoned than spicy. Sometimes the crawfish be SO HOT you literally cant eat! Im talking about the type of hot that gives chest and stomach pain and sends you into mental confusion.There have been times i came and spent $60 and had to throw the crawfish away (numerous times) but like i said when they get it right they get it all the way right. As a customer who has been a customer for years i strongly encourage yall to build some consistency with seasoning and flavor.Sometimes its like playing russian roulette but one thing i can say is they always have crawfish! Thats one other good thing about it and its never a wait! The crawfish could be cleaner too some days. Like i said the inconsistency be there but ill still pop in and support because WHEN THEY ARE RIGHT THEY ARE RIGHT!

I ordered 9 pieces of fish strip and another order of 6 fish strips the price was reasonable only $20 but it was okay my family and I were hungry so it was okay for the moment.. The crawfish however smelled so good I will go again just for that
