I tried this place SEVERAL times bc ppl kept saying how good the food was. Umm yeah lol. It’s gonna be a NO for me. The greens had way too much vinegar my mac n cheese taste like they made it with that cheap easy melt cheese.... my chicken was dry it was either over cooked or rewarmed up from the day before... I could go on but I’m not. I still believe in supporting black business but the food needs to be improved.

First on Door Dash it says it comes with 2 sides but they make you pay for each side. Ok bad marketing, but l will pay..Also, when l order they always forget my drink or they will send one can instead of two, l ask for two mac and cheese & they send one mac & cheese and cabbage.. its like after almost every order l am contacting Door Dash for something .. smh. Yall have opportunity to be good, get ALL your products and listen to your customers.

Just ate from this place for the first time today. I ordered the smothered pork chops, with greens, and mashed potatoes. I also ordered a slice of peach cobbler. The site says the plate comes with 2x the pork chops. Well, my whole plate was off. I only received one pork chop. The bed of rice was semi hard, the mashed potatoes was replaced with spaghetti Mac and cheese which was horrible, and the peach cobbler was replaced with a horrible tasting cheesecake. The green beans were okay. The only good thing about my order was the pork chop was cooked all the way and tender. I will not be eating here again. I was highly disappointed and expected something completely different.

Website says open until 9:30 pm...& they quit taking orders when the kitchen closes at 8:45 ....so we pulled up at 8:30 ...open sign is still lit up....but doors locked.. inside lights are off!! Never again! Had a huge order too!! They missed out!

During Covid, so I ordered on-line. I got the catfish plate that comes with fries & hush puppies. Fries are fries and the hush puppies seemed ready-made. The fish, though? The fish... cleaned and seasoned all the way & the fish fry was seasoned. Usually, I want tartar sauce, but that fish didn't need anything on it at all. I got the spaghetti & cheese, which was good. the Peach cobbler was like a dump cake with spiced cake - very good. I will definitely be trying the rest of the menu and when I want catfish, this will be my go-to place.
I waited a half hour for grits, eggs, and bacon. I received a serving of grits so small it would not have filled a 5 year old. I asked to purchase a side order, but was told they didn't have any more. Will not stop there for breakfast again.

Ordered through DoorDash, menu states entree with 2 sides. Only gives entree and optional sides for most. Ordered okra, rice with catfish filet. Not smothered, just added tomato sauce, no shrimp, no season. Catfish not the best. Nothing like I expected. Should have read the reviews.

I ordered the catfish platter via Door Dash. It says it comes with 2 sides but your unable to choose them. I left a note in the special instructions with the two sides I wanted. Otherwise you will pay for your 2 sides. The food had zero taste and the catfish batter was horrible. I also ordered peach cobbler for $4 and received a very small container of what tasted like an apple crisp with very little peaches. I will never order from this place again and I really wished I would have read the reviews first.
