My wife is a hamburger aficionado and this place was everything we expected! We have been trying to get there for about six months and finally was able to go yesterday. The burgers were seasoned perfectly, with a delicious sourdough bun that couldn’t be beat! Our server was a delight and made sure that we understood what we were getting And fixed up a couple of things when we were wrong. And oh yeah, baby, they use that blue plate mayonnaise! Considering the price, this is the best burger value you’ll find anywhere! A great vibe and good music to enjoy your meal with!

I would like to preface this review with: I am in no way affiliated with this Restaurant or Brand. I am just a traveler that happened upon this place with my large family of 7.

We have a child with an extreme Egg Allergy. Many places would turn us away, however, this place welcomed us with open arms. The manager Michael was very friendly and accommodating. The Hostess was inviting and our server Gracie was super sweet and helpful with any questions we had.

Each of my family members ordered different Burger meals and I had a bite of each, so I can give honest opinions on them.

I ordered the Guilt free burger well done with steamed veggies. It was a hot delicious patty on top of cold veggies to make a delicious combo. The steamed veggies were delicious without being mushy.
My hubby had a Hawaiian burger with a grilled pineapple. The burger was seasoned very well to make a savory sweet perfect bite each time.
My mother had the pizza burger. This was actually my favorite. A light amount of pasta sauce with pepperoni and lots of mozzarella cheese.
My oldest daughter ordered the Mac and cheese burger. This was the best Mac and cheese I have had in a long time. Each noodle was filled with extra cheddar sauce and the taste was phenomenal.
My younger daughter had the roast beef hoagie sandwich. I do not care much for roast beef so I am not able to give an accurate review for roast beef lovers. However, she absolutely loved it and it was too large for her to finish.
My son had the buffalo chicken and bacon sandwich. The chicken was extremely crispy and not very spicy. The sandwich was very flavorful and the chicken was juicy.
The Bacon was crispy and delicious on both the buffalo chicken sandwich and the Mac n cheese burger.
Let's not forget the French fries! There were seasoned well and crispy edges with a soft middle. Exactly how you would want your fries.
My baby with the egg allergy was able to eat some fries and the steamed veggies with ease.
All in all, everything was delicious, the service from Gracie was impeccable, and the knowledge and hospitality from Michael the manager was impressive. The accommodations made we are extremely thankful for. Many places would have turned us away.

The service provided was horrible. Once seated, we sat about 10 minutes before she took our drink order. Then, I had to flag her down to let her know we were ready to order entrees. She never came back to check on us throughout anything. The restaurant wasn't busy she had another table that left while we were there, so I only saw her serving one other table. The only thing I can say was good were the boudin balls. Also ordered the spinach dip wouldn't recommend, it comes with potato chips not tortilla chips, & the appearance of that was not appealing. The other food wasn't worth the time or the drive there. I ordered two appetizers as an entree, she bout 1 out way before the other I sent it back because it looked thrown together but a manager comes out to tell me they should look like that, I still requested fresh fries & a remake. Upon getting the remake, I was still disappointed bc they tasted old. I bite in the fries & was hard & I could see where the cheese looked as if it was put back in the oven. The wings weren't any better. I'm not sure if they were baked or fried, but I could look at them & see they had been re-cooked. At this point, I was just ready for the ticket because nothing about this experience was pleasing. Would I recommend NO, NO, NO.

Updated Review... after my first review I Spoke with owner who took in my concerns & issues & asked me to give them another try. The service that time around was better than my initial visit.

Don’t waste your time or money!

This company charges their own servers when a party dines and dashes. How is that the server's fault?!?! poor business practice.

Visiting BR and decided to go here, I had enjoyed this place before. This time we were seated and no one came to take our order after waiting 10mins we left. I was very disappointed as I saw several waitresses pass our table. Sad that the service isn't what I remembered when I visited before.

My personal favorite burger ever, especially in Baton Rouge. The sourdough buns make a world of difference, and there's something here for every burger enjoyer. Whether you like classic burgers or something more adventurous, you really ought to give Our Mom's a try.

The burgers are worth the hype, especially the mac and cheese one. Good friendly service, plus we had access to a large "private" room by request (closed off to the rest of the restaurant by a sliding "barn" door. Will definitely go back.

Everything here is fine. Food is okay, service is good, atmosphere is a little warehouse-ish, but nothing to celebrate. It's a good place for solid burgers in a pinch, but it's not the best burger I've ever had either. If you're looking for a gourmet burger place, this isn't it. The menu is misleading in that respect.
