This was pretty much my final straw with Outback, my family had started going to Outbacks a good many years ago and it was our go to choice for a steakhouse. Food and service typically was phenomenal. But, about 2 to 3 years ago something happened to the chain. Service was no longer very welcoming, orders were constantly wrong, and we decided to jump ship to another steakhouse.I decided to give it another try alone as I needed to waste some time somewhere and was hungry. To my disappointment, I ordered my steak and the server and I had forgotten to ask what temperature to cook it at but I remembered and told them before they put it in.When I received my steak, it was ultra rare... I had ordered it medium. And the chicken breast I received was still raw on the inside. I sent it back and got back the chicken cooked and the steak is now rare. Had to send it back again, at this point my poor steak had 3 big cuts in it and was finally at the correct temperature.Service never really apologized and I felt embarrassed having to ask multiple times to have something fixed.I do not intend to go back to the Outback Steakhouse ever again unless dire circumstances come to fruition.
