Panera bread is for everyone yet feels special to each person. This Panera I've been to (a lot of them all over the country) has it's own charm. Here in Baton Rouge it's a family style southern sweetness. Ted and Tim manage this location with the same energy a southern diner provides. Hot coffee and Tea. Baked bread as soft and tender as my French mother baked it. Thank you for every wonderful experience I have when I eat at this location. Wifi is fast and the service workers behind the counters have a smile that will warm any cold northerner such as myself.

First of all this is one of the best Panera locations in Baton Rouge from the wonderful service to wonderful team members. The tall black one is very helpful and knows how to extremely multitask without being thrown off track. PS: The sandwich and soup combo is wonderful as usual.

I ordered food from Panera Bread for delivery, and the experience was incredibly frustrating. The app never updated past “order being prepared,” and I was never notified that my order couldn’t be delivered. By the time I checked again, the store was already closed—yet the app still showed my order as “preparing.” Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with this location. Deliveries consistently take longer than the estimated timeframe, and the food almost always arrives cold. Tonight’s experience was the final straw. If Panera wants to keep customers, they seriously need to improve their delivery system and communication.

The one chain cafe that doesn't feel like a chain. Their sandwich bread is my absolute favorite... perfect texture, taste and freshness. The hot sandwiches are an incredible value... can definitely split it with another person and have a side of their soup... Makes for an amazing lunch for under $14... which is pretty much the price nowadays for a greasy fast food lunch that doesn't fill you up. Great service and friendly people at this location. Definitely in my top 3 spots to grab lunch in B.R.

I visited today for lunch through the drive-through and ordered a strawberry lemonade, two everything bagels, and smoked salmon cream cheese. The cashier never mentioned it was unavailable and gave me plain cream cheese instead.
After pulling over to check my order, I realized nothing was correct. I also received a blueberry lavender lemonade—something I would never have ordered. This is important because some customers have allergies and rely on accurate information about menu items.
When I raised my concerns, the manager dismissed them, repeating that “they are human” instead of addressing the issue. If I had been told the smoked salmon cream cheese wasn’t available, I would have chosen something else.
