I went too long not trying this place. Simple concept, very casual, but excellent at what they do. The Philly cheesesteaks are amazing! Be prepared to wait a bit during the lunch rush, but hey, just a good sign it's well loved because people line up every day to get it! I'd recommend the Cajun cheesesteak and if you're avoidant of spicy things like me get it without the jalapeños and light on the chipotle mayo. Flavor is so good and always fresh!

Tried this place for the first time after a co-worker recommended it to me. Ordered Da Gumbo and a side of the beer battered onion rings. Probably one if the best Sandwiches I've had. Service was fast, even though they were fairly busy. Price is also very good. Will definitely be going back.

Being that I am from the original cheese steak town (Phila) it took a while to find this place after DeAngelo's closed. I LOVE Philly Me Up! As one opened I would try it. I have never found a better steak than here! The one at LSU had the worst sandwich ever. I asked them what kind of steak they used and they would not say. It tasted like a Steak Um that you brought out of the grocery store. I tried South of Philly but didn't like the taste of the meat. You see they are no longer open in BR. Josh and his crew are very knowledgeable of their product. Original Amorsa rolls from Philly, the original steak, Believe me if you ask him he will tell you what it is. I recommend them to my friends and people who may be waiting in line at another place. Now, if I can only get some Tasty Kakes especially Peanut Butter Tandy Cakes!Parking: It just gets too crowded at lunch time.

I showed up 15 minutes before close and wasn't allowed to come in. The door was locked yet there was people inside still eating. Just wanted to pick up an order to go. If you want to close at 3:15, then put that on the sign. Don't say 3:30 and then go lock the door at 3:15 or earlier. I wonder if the owner even knows their employees are running business away so they can get out of work early.
