I’m only giving it two stars because Podnuh’s has definitely fallen off. I don’t know who the owner/general manager is but it’s definitely being poorly managed and owned to the point that I don’t see how they are still in business. The Sherwood Forest location never opens on time, one day I went after 11:30 thinking they were open, the guy came to the door to tell the other customers waiting that it would be another hour before they open so I left and drove across the river to Couyons. One day I visited and ordered the BBQ sampler which comes with all the meats but the ribs nor the chicken was done, the young man said it would be another hour or so. It’s always one person in there having to man both the customers inside and the drive-thru because the other employee is always late.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat while working in town. The food here didn’t disappoint great food, good portions. Sides where on point definitely will stop again when I come through town

My parents used to eat here frequently back in the day as their business was nearby, so when my dad said he was craving BBQ, we trekked across town to their old standby. There was a hand written note taped to the drive through board to pull forward and someone would get their order at the window. After 10 minutes of no one coming to the window, we left.

Went through the drive through first they were out of Poboy buns and potato salad. Should’ve left but just changed the order. The brisket sandwich had more fat than meat, the beans were extremely dry, coleslaw was terrible. We basically threw it away. Will not be going back.

Placed an order at drive thru today for son.Guy said 6 bones 2 sides for 17.98 . Well he got 5 bones. Baked beans ok but pot salad was terrible. No taste ....no season just smoke flavor on ribs. Will not return & would not recommend. Rule of thumb if no cars means poor restaurant.....I thought it was closed.

Went to Podnuhs Sunday evening to pick up dinner. Arrived at 635, only to find the door locked. Drive thru open till 7? That's fine. Except, in spite of a big ole sign in the front window declaring that they are open, no one answers at drive thru. No one answers the phone. If you don't have the staff to stay open, or you run out of food, I understand. At least have the courtesy to turn off the OPEN sign. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Off to find different dinner. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Awesome lil place w the best pulled pork around...me and my hubby are regulars we drive from tickfaw on weekends to eat delicious goodness ...ty for all u do ...food is phenomenal ...if u have not tried it u are definitely missing out....

I've had the brisket sandwich plate and got the 1/2 chicken today. With the price of everything going up Podnuh's still offers good food in generous portions with fast service, at an affordable price. Can't complain about that.
