I have encountered absolutely atrocious service at this Popeye's location twice in the last month, and I can no longer recommend it. As a delivery driver, I rely on efficiency and professionalism—but this place has consistently failed on both counts.

On one late-night visit (around 11:30 PM), I waited 15–20 minutes for an order that was clearly ready, left sitting on the counter. The staff’s attitude was deplorable: the cashier was dismissive and rude, and an accompanying employee, who looked shockingly young, seemed utterly incapable of managing basic tasks. It was as if no one was paying attention, leaving me frustrated and out of time.

During a second visit earlier in the evening when the lobby was open, the chaos continued. I waited at least 10 minutes despite clearly stating my order details. When my customer texted me to request a substitution on a side, the order had already been packed without any flexibility—forcing me to accept a completed order that didn’t match the request.

This location’s drive-thru is painfully inefficient, with orders taking far too long even when it’s not busy. The overall service is so poor that I’ve added this Popeye’s to my instant decline list on every delivery app.

In my opinion, this establishment should close permanently until they completely overhaul their staff and service protocols. I wish I could give zero stars, but I’m forced to leave it at one star. If you value prompt, courteous service, do yourself a favor and avoid this Popeye’s on Government Street.

I was very polite because of a pervious visit was not a good vibe. Made me wait 18 minutes for no reason, the manager was busy gossiping. My co-work ordered the same 3p special and his was $2.00 less and he received additional sides. Not the first time I've had bad service at this location. Diversity not included at this location.
