Proverbial Wine Bistro

First time dining experience and I must say, everything exceeded my expectations. Service was great, the menu selections outstanding and the meal, unbelievably delicious! We had the seafood board with an extra added flank steak and mushrooms. Absolutely every item on the board was top-notch, possibly the best that I've had in any restaurant anywhere. This size portion was more than the two of us could eat. It goes without saying, the wine selections were fantastic. We will definitely be back! 

Proverbial Wine Bistro is easily one of the most beautiful and well put together spots in Prairieville. The aesthetics are incredible from the moment you walk in, with a warm, elevated atmosphere that feels both modern and comfortable. You can tell a lot of intention went into the design, and it sets the perfect tone for a great dining experience.

They recently made some modifications to the menu, and the updates were awesome. I tried one of their seafood boards, and while I can’t remember the exact name, it was packed with flavor and quality. I also had a steak dish that was absolutely amazing. I wish I would have grabbed a picture before diving in, but it was too good to wait.

The drinks were on point, and the wine selection was excellent. Brennan and Peyton are phenomenal. I have known these guys for a while, and they never fail when it comes to custom cocktails, wine recommendations, and top tier service. They always deliver, and they always elevate the experience.

Honestly, I cannot say a single bad thing about this place. Everything is good here. From the food to the drinks to the service, they consistently get it right. Proverbial Wine Bistro is definitely a 5 out of 5, and I highly recommend it to anyone who has not tried it yet. Thank you for reading.

We had lunch at Proverbial Wine Bistro and were very pleased. The atmosphere is very modern, sleek and clean. The wine selection is very nice with a great full cocktail bar with seating. The food is very good and there is a wide of small dishes that can be combined. The hot chicken was delicious. Our server was very friendly and very attentive.

Server was extremely rude and rolled his eyes at our party multiple times. GM was rude and not professional when issues were brought to his attention.

The beautiful weather completed the amazing ambience and fantastic food. Went for brunch and the Benedict board didn't disappoint

I have been to Proverbial a number of times and all experiences were a 5. When we went on Sunday the 29th at 4 PM, the service was slow and my flatbread pizza was burnt around the edges and dry. They were most likely understaffed that day and did not foresee a larger crowd than usual.

My husband and I stopped by for brunch and the eggs sardou were fantastic! Looking forward to going back for dinner.

Our server, Hannah, apparently has only been working here for a week. You couldn't tell, because she was so incredibly friendly and hospitable!! I mean just fantastic service! And the food...wow!! It was so flavorful while also retaining the flavors of the different portions of the dish. I mean just everything about this place is PHENOMENAL. We came for brunch, but I can't wait to come back for dinner!!!

Absolutely the best way to end your week and start your weekend! Service, food and atmosphere can't be beat! One of the best burgers in town! Black Manhattan perfectly stirred is my favorite!

Proverbial has a great weekend brunch. I went with the breakfast while the wife had a beet salad including beef. Both were very filling and delicious. The full bar service helped out with Bloody Marys and Mimosas. There was nothing we didn't like!

This was our 2nd time while visiting the area to eat at PWB. Both times, we were there for brunch. The menu has a nice variety of options. There is a full bar as well. We would absolutely visit again. (Madi, our server, was great, too!)
