We had a party of 8 and really enjoyed the Seafood board. Their lemon Blueberry drink was delicious ? and our server was AMAZING. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to dine with friends or individually!

Made reservations for a Lenten menu lunch advertised from 11 am to 9 pm. We got there at 11am and were told the Lenten menu was only for dinner! Their normal menu is very limited for Lent so we left.

I had reservations for 8:30 made it to the restaurant roughly 8:25. I waited and was approached finally at about 8:33. I was told hold a second and about 8:40 someone returned I asked what was the hold up? I was then told they were preparing my table. I was finally seated about 2-3 minutes later. Order water/ a drink. Once my waiter returned with the water she informed me there were no seafood items available. I find that this is something that should have been said while waiting 15 minutes to be seated. ( being I’m pescatarian)

My husband and I have been here twice and loved the food and drinks. However, we will NOT be back. A few months ago, there was a snafu with our reservation (I reserved for 4, but they had us down for 2) and were unable to accommodate us for dinner. I can forgive a mistake once. Because the restaurant is small and fills up quickly, I made reservations weeks in advance for NYE and ensured our reservation was correct at the time of booking. I received a confirmation call ONE DAY ahead and was informed that the menu was prix fixe only and $65 a person. No regular menu would be available. WTH? There was no information provided at the time I made the reservation and what decent restaurant is going to have a reservation available the day before New Year's Eve? The manager only said she could work with "dietary needs", but I'd have to tell her in advance. I don't know what all 4 people would want in advance, but it was definitely not what was on the Prixe Fixe menu. If I wanted a giant, 3 course meal instead of a few appetizers and wine, I would have made reservations at Ruffinos, not Proverbial Wine Bistro.Thanks for completely ruining my NYE plans, Proverbial. I expect a lot better from a restaurant run by City Hospitality Group!

So I don’t write reviews , this actually might be the first review I ever wrote. But me and my girlfriend had an amazing time! Chris was our server and he was amazing, he definitely made the experience what it was , from the drinks he made , the conversation he had and just his hospitality in general was top tier. We loved the food and we loved the drinks. Even the bathrooms were up to to par lol. Don’t hesitate in the slightest to come here! it’s great and ask for Chris because he is amazing , we had an amazing time!

After three separate occasions of making reservations for a specific table to celebrate special events, this restaurant does not honor commitments. Communication between staff members is non existent. Three strikes you are out.

Modest and charming restaurant with a decent wine selection.Every time, our server has been engaging and attentive creating a relaxed environment immediately. We began with a glass of wine and the Artichoke Romana. The appetizer was unexpectedly savory, my favorite part of our meal.We split the Prime Cut Board with the filet as our meat. The creamed spinach was mouthwatering and the steak was cooked to perfection.The carnitas tacos are spicy but very delicious.Great lunch spot or date night, but be sure to have a reservation.
