Got the birria tacos and they barely have any meat in there. For $20+ dollars it definitely should be filled more than a whisper of brisket.

Very nice place. Everyone very friendly and attentive. The queso is very good. The salsa delicious, it is chunky with onions, cilantro and just outstanding. Love that the enchiladas were made with flour tortillas, I prefer those to corn tortillas. Definitely worth coming back.

Queso was recommended to me by a co-worker. I will NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone! I ordered the combo fajitas (chicken and shrimp) when the dish was brought out there were three(3) small strips of grilled chicken and three (3) butterfly shrimp with the shell on 🙄...and a heaping amount of onion and green bell peppers....I paid $25 for onion and bell peppers...what a shame...and it was mediocre at best 🤷🏾‍♀️...I love Mexican food and have NEVER been served such small portions... there's a reason this restaurant was empty... The bright side was the complimentary salsa and chips, which were delicious and the waitress was awesome! They will NEVER get my money again! **The attached photo was taken BEFORE I took a bite and asked this waitress about the amount of chicken and shrimp**... I cut the chicken up to make it feel like I had more than there actually was**

This location on Sherwood is very tasty. I especially enjoyed the loaded appetizers, which is a combination of several of their most popular items in one dish. The Chilli Con Queso was very good as well, I got it with ground meat added. Chips were fresh and the staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a look on this side of town.

Had fantastic time at Queso Mexican Restaurant! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Our server had a warm personality and gave us excellent recommendations, which we really appreciated.
​The food was a highlight of the evening. The birria tacos were a definite standout—they had a depth of flavor that was absolutely delicious. We also tried some unique dishes like the eggrolls, which were so good they were almost addictive! Even a simple request like a plain Caesar salad, which wasn't on the menu, was handled perfectly. The salad was seasoned and dressed to perfection. The salsa is perfection.
​Overall, the wonderful staff and amazing food made our experience a solid 5-star visit. We'll definitely be back!

My husband and I love this place, we eat dinner here at least once a week! Food is excellent, and sercice is so good, they make you feel like family!
You need to come and check this place out, I am sure this will end up being your go to place after one visit!

We had an AMAZING time at Queso. Our waitress Mildred went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful dining experience. The margs are strong, the salsa has flavor (iyyk), and the queso is so delicious! The Birria tacos are so freaking good
