I wish I had read some of the reviews before my visit. I was very excited to go in & purchase some tea blends & dried herbs. I wasn’t greeted when I walked in, which was red flag #1. No pleasantries were exchanged when I got someone’s attention to help me with the teas. Both of the sales associates who were working were VERY cold to me. I planned on purchasing at least double what I ended up leaving with, but I was ready to end that unpleasant experience. As I was leaving, a customer who was walking in was greeted promptly and warmly, which confirmed some suspicions that I had. Unfortunate, as I was so excited to support a local business. I would rather buy my herbs elsewhere than be mistreated.
The best fresh spices you can get.
They have some really good combinations of spices for different applications.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
I get bored drinking plain water and discovered I can drink Roobios tea and they have Roobios Vanilla Chai. Yummy.
They also have a Chai mix no tea that I love.
Whether you're a baker or a cook you will love it here.
Unique upscale store with a variety of quality products.
Had what i needed
Fantastic tea and spice shop. You can get them to mix up your own special blend. We came home with a bag full of tea and culinary blends and flavoelred olive oils. The store clerks were friendly and helpful.
Really enjoyed myself there. The cashier was so awesome and informative.
I was looking for a special tea and found this place. They are able to mix it for you, and that's what I was looking for. I was surprised at all the other spices, rubs, and olive oils. This is a cooks dream come true.
I’m super glad the girl who answered the phone an hour ago told me they were closing early today. Drove all way from Hammond. Do better.
So many teas and spices!! Friendly, helpful crew.
They have everything you can think of.......SPICES....Friendly and pleasant staff....

Me and my husband love this store! Their loose leaf tea selection is wonderful. I stock up on my staples every trip and look forward to trying out their seasonal selections! As a tea lover, this is one of my favorite stores in the city!
Love the place. All my tea needs with a great and knowledgeable crew.
We did a group cooking class here for our company… and it was awesome! Highly recommend this place and the cooking classes and all the products. Check it out!
In my experience it’s hit or miss. I come here every few months for loose teas and spices so I can’t speak to the cooking classes. I wish the teas were organic or labeled organic if any are! I’d probably come more often if they had more organic options.
I need to say sometimes it’s such poor service. I’ve had a few positive, helpful people approach me before but haven’t seen them in a while. I want to feel good about supporting a local business but some of the employees I’ve repeatedly seen and interacted with are short and rude. The first few times it happened I brushed it off, they probably had a lot to do or a bad day. The continuous bad attitudes gave me a sour taste and maybe it’s their manager who treats them poorly so I can’t blame them for acting that way. I don’t usually ask questions when I go in, just try to get in and get out. I don’t need to feel like I’m royalty when I shop, and it’s not everyone, just certain employees seem miserable working there. Feels unwelcoming and cold. I hope they’re being treated well and paid fairly. I’ll probably be back but only because it’s close and the only small spice shop near me.
An amazing selection and super helpful staff!
