I'm not big on Me I a food, but I went here for a birthday celebration! I asked someone who worked there what they recommended. His eyes lit up as he described the trio fajitas. I took his suggestion! Boy, he was spot on! The shrimp were plump and cooked perfectly! The steak was seasoned perfectly, cooked perfectly and was so tender! The chicken and veggies were amazing! The service was spot on! I wish that I lived in Baton Rouge because I'd be eating here weekly!

Visiting Louisiana from Texas so we wanted a quick stop for something we're familiar with(mexican food) but wanted to try a restaurant that's not in Texas. The ambiance was amazing and the restaurant is beautiful! The employees are so nice and they sit you really fast. The manager really made the experience better, he was so sweet and even recommended places for beignets! Now the most important part...the FOOD! if you're looking for authentic mexican...sorry mija but this isn't. Three things didn't really have flavor, the enchiladas, the queso blanco, and the rice. They only have one queso so if you want regular queso, not happening. You couldn't really tell if the tortillas were homemade or not but they weren't that bad. The enchiladas only had one sauce chile con queso, basically wolf chili from the can. The rice has no flavor or anything interesting. I hate to say it because I don't really have any other Louisiana mexican restaurants to compare it to but this place is for the white folk. AS IM TYPING THIS THEY GAVE US 20% OFF THE BILL AND THE MARGARITAS WE ORDERED, FOR FREE.

I like this Mexican restaurant because it is clean. And they have great margaritas and food. Mr. Omar, the manager, as well as the hostess. Miss Kenzie are very accommodating as they will let you choose your table if they are not busy. Yes, it is more expensive than the other Mexican restaurants in the area. But I am willing to pay more for better food quality. I usually order the carn asada or the ribeye steak along with rice and beans. I also love their margaritas and enchiladas. I love that they use thin crispy tortilla chips with the free salsa which the salsa is OKI would maybe add some onions or cilantro to the salsa if it were my restaurant and give it a little bit more flavor and taste. The birthday celebrations here are very cute festive. The patio is lovely at night. So I give it and overall 5 star. Rating. Warm regards, Joelle

I've been to both locations and glad they opened this one closer to my house. They sat us quickly, service was friendly, and kitchen was efficient. Food had the perfect temperature and taste. The best part is that the manager and owner came to check on us. Made us feel valued.

Los Reyes has a large parking lot. We were greeted immediately when walking in and seated quickly. Service was good throughout our visit. Large menu. My husband and I both had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce. The dish included beans and rice. Food was okay Nothing great. Chips were warm. Salsa was bland. The restaurant was clean, there were several large TVs and music playing.

Thank goodness for a great Mexican restaurant near LSU!!! Every dish I have ordered is delicious! The wait staff is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Los Reyes Mexican Grill.

not impressed, don't get a thing with ground beef, no flavor. place is too noisy, food not worth it, keep looking there's a lot better in Baton Rouge, we had high hopes, won't be back, beer selection is based on students, guess cause they are near LSU, students don't tip well, though, won't be back.

Was looking forward to steak fajitas and what I got was disappointing. Everything in the plate was fine but if you look at the picture, that was not fajita steak. It looked like processed meat of some kind and it tasted terrible. They must have gotten in frozen meat or something but it was absolutely atrocious. It was supercalifragilistic expial-atrocious. It was disgusting. The only good thing about the meat was that my dog absolutely loved it. Can't say much about the service or ambiance 'cause I took it to go but I was sooooooo looking forward to putting my teeth into some steak. Not a good Mexican restaurant. I always see a lot of cars in the lot but they must be employee parking. I'll stick with my other Mexican restaurants that are more authentic. Some workers that work there looked authentically Mexican but the cooks must be from Rhode Island. Not good, not good at all.

Good Food and Service as usual. Has the best queso in the city and i have always enjoyed this place with my family. Never too packed and never really had to wait long for a table. You can watch the game and have a few margaritas. Drinks could be stronger,,, but could always just double up lol. Definitely coming back

This place is crazy busy the night we went. It was a homecoming week. But the service was great. The food was great. We ordered the fajitas and frozen margaritas. It's got a lot of regular customers from what I could gather. Nice place for sure.

Wife and I ate here on 10/27/23 for the first time. It was a darn good decision. Finally found a Mexican Restaurant in Baton Rouge that has really good tasting food. Forget about Superior Grill and La Carretta, to me the food was way better at Los Reyes Mexican Grill. I had the combo plate El Mejor. The Enchiladas were super good. They were not dry like other places. They were well seasoned. The tamale was delicious as was the chicken burrito and the beef taco. Our waitress was great! The wife enjoyed her dish also. We are making this our number one restaurant for Mexican food. Location is good, right there on Coursey Blvd.

I went here with a group of 6 people for a girls night out. If you are looking for a place that has authentic Mexican food this isn't the place that I would go to. We ordered the regular nachos to split with the group and it was good but gets soggy very quickly! We also got chips and salsa which were my favorite as the salsa had a bit of a kick and the chips were crunchy. We mainly went to Los Reyes for the purpose of getting drinks and those did not disappoint! I ordered a pineapple jalapeño margarita which was spicy but good. My friends ordered the galaxy margarita and Mia margarita which were HUGE! The service was very quick and the staff was very kind! The interior is a very lively place that is super colorful. I also saw that they had an outdoor seating that was very cute. Overall it was a bit pricy but it is a good place for drinks and catching up with friends
