Had the sampler plate. Overall it was good. A lot of food for lunch, need a nap. Food could use a little more spice, but I like hot food. Service was excellent. Very friendly. I would come back.

Horrible. White beans and then jambalaya weren’t seasoned at all. No doubt this was taken out the fridge and reheated. Awful awful awful.

I don't currently have a car. I ordered my food through Uber Eats. It was so expensive I got jambalaya for two the jambalaya combo sampler plate. The food was hot. it is a shame it was all inedible, all of it. $52.47. I feel robbed. I did see mixed reviews I'm not going to lie but I love jambalaya and gumbo and both were so horrible even my pet wouldn't try it. The gumbo tasted flour and the bread pudding was soggy and deplorable. I want a complete refund this is an outrage!!!!!!

I ordered jambalaya bucket for 20, white beans, salad and bread. Also ordered bread pudding and Mississippi mud pie. It was all delicious and delivered hot and ready to eat. I even received a call that they might be a few minutes late with the delivery as they were waiting for the bread pudding to come out of the oven. SOOO worth the extra few minutes?. Great experience with Rice and Roux!

The O'Neal Lane store makes the best chicken and sausage jambalaya in Baton Rouge. They have gumbo, red beans and much more. Weekday lunch specials. The place is clean, casual, comfortable, and friendly. Ample seating.

Food was average. Fish chewy and sent back for extra cooking in the middle. White beans, cornbread and potato salad were good. Jambalaya and Etouffe were fair. Service was very slow. Staff was very nice, pleasant and accommodating!

Parking: Very ample parking in a strip mall.
