Was looking for some good crawfish passing through LA and I definitely chose the right spot. The etouffee was full of flavor and a very generous amount of crawfish. Green beans and corn were also well seasoned and did not go unnoticed.

Tonight’s fried fish was soggy. Potato salad was runny, almost liquid in consistency. Just not a good meal. Lee drive store.

We ordered 2 Red bean dinners and 1pint of chicken & sausage gumbo. The red beans were very dark and hard as if they came out of a can. The gumbo was just a flour gravy with chicken and sausage. Potato salad was bland, no egg in it at all. My husband had the fried fish also, that was old and rubbery. Highly disappointed, will NOT be ordering from this place again. A total waste.

Jambalaya was so good. The cornbread was amazing. The gumbo was not my favorite. The gumbo lacked the dark roux and had too flour. My daughter had the fried fish and it was amazingly great - like the best I have had in Baton Rouge.

Staff is very friendly. 1st time here and they were patient as we looked over menu. Food is excellent. We had sample plate of jambalaya, seafood gumbo, and boudin. Tucked away in storefront but definitely worth the stop.
