Highly recommend. We go here every time our mom comes to town, because she loves their muffuletta. We buy the big one, and she eats it every day for 4 days. It’s very popular so the wait for food to be ready is a little long at times, but it’s definitely worth the wait.

As close to New Orleans po boys (poor boys, whatever) you'll find in Baton Rouge. They serve burgers, red beans and rice, fries, rootbeer, cold beer, other stuff. The sandwiches are generous and tasty. Good amount of dine in seating. Order at the bar, wait for your number. Good service. I'm old so it seems pricey but probably isn't. I like the joint

I recently had the pleasure of picking food from Rocco's in Baton Rouge, where I indulged in their outstanding shrimp po-boy. The po-boy was generously filled with the perfect amount of fresh Gulf shrimp, which were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The bread added a delightful texture and authenticity to the dish, truly capturing the essence of a New Orleans-style po-boy.

What truly elevated the experience was the addition of fried jalapenos to the po-boy. The spicy kick complemented the richness of the shrimp beautifully, creating a delightful combination of flavors and textures with each bite. My husband summed it up perfectly: "There was nothing wrong with this po-boy," which translates to it being absolutely fabulous. If you're in Baton Rouge and craving a top-notch shrimp po-boy, Rocco's is definitely worth a visit.

Simply the best po boy joint in Baton Rouge. It's really the only place that reminds my family of our favorite po boys from New Orleans (the french bread, flavors, everything). He gets it right - every time. Don't live or work close to Rocco's anymore, so I don't visit as frequently nowadays, but always make a stop here when in the area!

I was coming back from running errands and decided to try this place that I've been hearing about. I pulled up at 10:15 and realized they didn't open to 10:30 so I sat in my car. At literally seconds before 10:30 I walked to the door and it was locked. He came open the door and continued to have an attitude about the opening time and didn't like that i had waited in tje parking lot. I preceeded to tell him that i heard about this place and wanted to check it out. He just went on about the time they open ignoring anything i said. I was polite the entire time but apparently he needs a lesson in customer service. There are ways to get your point across without being rude.
Although the food was good I will never go there again. Customer service is half your business no matter how good the food is. Name on ticket is Michael D.

Best roast beef poboy on this side of BR, in my opinion. Just know they are super messy and you will probably want a stack of napkins (as well as a to-go box if you get the "full-size" sandwich! ❤️

All The Poboys are really awesome, especially the roast beef and the shrimp poboys! That Roast Beef sandwich is probably as close to New Orleans flavor as you’ll find in BR.

Great place, awesome foods as well as variety, great customer service with a smile😀. After having one of their poboys that completely overwhelmed me with flavor, I had no appetite for a long time while visiting my Brother and Family in my hometown of Baton Rouge LA.
