It was good and cool inside, they were short staffed that day so the service was a little slow. The food was great, their veggie grape leaves are awesome. Wish they still put the spices out to make your own dipping sauce for their freshly warmed and seasoned pita. The Lebanese tea was awesome as well. Try the beef swarms as well, it's super good. I highly suggest people try this place out.

Although price would increase with larger portions, their lamb shank would not have been big enough to satiate a full-grown-adult dinner. Mine was more like the size of a leg from a rotisserie chicken, still super flavorful. Refined details such as a beautiful updated bar and modern lighting will keep me coming back. Roman's is really good at what they do. I gnawed on that lamb shank for awhile, so satiating and carnal. Portion size is pertinent, however.

I love Romans. They are my favorite Greek place in Baton Rouge. I got the chicken shawarma plate with eggplant moussaka instead of salad, Lebanese Tea, and Tiramisu for desert. It was delicious. I love their bread. It's a different kind of pita. It's almost like Naan bread... Anyway, I, of course, will be returning.
