Roux 61 Seafood & Grill

The food was quite delicious. Blackened catfish was soft and well seasoned, the red fish with pasta was well cooked and the pasta wasn't dry or drowning, but had a nice flavor. The fried pickles were really good. The fried catfish was cooked perfectly. Everything we tried was well cooked and properly seasoned. Waitress was kind and pleasant. The only thing I disliked were the chairs that were hard and a bit uncomfortable.

I honestly never leave reviews, but we ordered food to go , almost $100 worth of food. Two dozen orders of hot wings with no ranch or blue cheese (which I made sure to confirm twice on the phone ). I Called to see what could be done and the manager Christina was the most rude and horrible person in customer service I have ever dealt with in life. She was yelling and told us it was our fault because we didn’t check our order. I’m honestly in shock and have never been spoken to that way. We always support this restaurant but we will not be back.

I visited Roux 61 last week again after not eating there in about 5 years. My friend and I ordered the the sweet chilli buffalo wings with a side house salad and I fell in love with those wings. I took an order home for my husband and he also enjoyed them. My husband and I went back the following Friday for our date night (two days ago) and he and I ordered the same meal with a 1/2 dozon of wings to go. Then again, Saturday evening for dinner, guess what? We called our order in to pick up... another dozen of those wings with a large house salad to enjoy at home while we watched movies. We can not get enough of those wings with that salad! I also tired the seafood boudin balls and they were amazing as well. The service was very professional and attentive to our table on both visits. I had the same male waitor on both visits. The only suggestion I would offer to the waitor would be to learn more about the menu in order to offer more details about the items on the menu to the customers. However he did offer samples of the Gumbo before ordering it and thank goodness because it is not a flavor you expect for a Gumbo to taste like! There's also a night manger there name Christina who is handling her business to ensure customer satisfaction is honored. She took care of a little problem we had at our table on my first visit with my friend. So she's another reason I will continue to patronize this restaurant with my friends and family! She absolutely care about the reputation of restaurant and quality of service they offer to keep the customers coming back!! What great job you're doing Christina and keep up the good work!! It will difinitely pay off for you in the future!!!

I'm so surprised that I have not discovered this place sooner because everything we've ordered tasted wonderful! The chargrilled oysters had the right amount of charred to it. The mozzarella cheese logs were cheesy, just like my personality. And lastly, the alligator cheesecake reminds me exactly like QUICHE, but I loved it! I look forward to trying this place again real soon!

First and foremost the food is pretty good. I can't really complain about the food. However, the seats are hard and very uncomfortable. It's a great restaurant, and i'm pretty sure you guys make enough money to invest and get comfortable seating! Customer service is OK on slower days, but on busier days it's not as great. Also I think that you guys should upgrade your online ordering or call in systems. Me and my co workers try to support the restaurant & place an order via telephone and usually they don't even pick up.

I had dinner at Roux 61 tonight, and it was such a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were super generous—you definitely get your money’s worth. Our server, Willow, was awesome. She was really friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.

The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, which made the whole evening even better. I’m already looking forward to coming back! We could not have asked for a better place to have my husband’s company Christmas party. If you’re thinking about trying Roux 61, do it—you won’t be disappointed.

BEST. CHARGRILLED. IN. TOWN.
Went here last Thursday to kill some time and enjoyed the happy hour and decided to try out the diablo chargrilled oysters. Our waiter's name was Thomas and he made our experience even better.
Not to mention all adult drinks are half off for their happy hour.

I ordered a chicken club sandwich to take home to eat and watch some football. When I got home my sandwich had no bacon, riddled with tomatoes and pickles (which doesn't say on menu). The chicken was not seasoned at all and the bread was soggy from whatever sauce they put and I only had 2 pieces of onion.
