One of the BEST places for true New Orleans style beignets! The place is adorable and a perfect place for dessert. And for an additional bonus, you get food and a show, as the owner juggles!!! He’s awesome!!! If you haven’t tried this place yet, you need to go asap!

Unfortunately I didn’t get to try any beignets. Stopped here on my way back go the airport since I’m out of town. The sign on the door said they were operating under temporary hours this week, closing at 2pm. Okay great, it’s 1:19pm. The door was locked. Disappointing because I passed up other locations on the way here and there weren’t any nearby beignets spots.

Was very impressed! The beignets were delicious. The server was so polite; brought our coffee and beignets to our table and left our tab open in case we wanted anything else. He also served some lagniappe beignet fingers, and toes! Wonderful experience and will be a regular patron.

Came into Rue Beignet because I am passing through town and wanted some coffee and a place to do some work before a meeting. Wifi not working (which eliminated may work plans) but the coffee is good (Cafe au Laitt). Seems like folks come here largely for the beignets which I did not try but do smell great.

Older gentleman made us feel welcome like we’d come to visit “uncle” somebody’s home. Food was fresh and made to order. Entirely too much powdered sugar for my taste. I’ll know to ask for lightly powdered beignets next time. Was offered Nutella or honey with our beignets fingers. The kids loved it.
Parking: Shopping Center with free parking. Handicap space right in front of the business.
Rue beignets are BETTER than the ones we had in New Orleans. Best Beignets I’ve ever had!! Sooooo good!!! Sooo light!!! And the owner, was beyond delightful. Happy people make happy yummy food! Thank you for the lovely experience!
