We ordered garlic knots and a personal pizza each. The garlic knots came raw and we had to send them back. Once they came they were tasty. My friend's pizzas were fine but mine had the wrong sauce at first and had to be sent back as well. It was also good when it final came correctly but it all took about two hours.

The non black servers here are racist. They were saying terrible things about their black clients to me. The thing is, I’m black. I asked them to explain and define the things they were saying and they were unable to express themselves. I think it’s weird to turn your nose up at people when you’re working in a pizza shop for minimum wage. Included are some of my current social media analytics. If you don’t apologize or do something about their behavior, I’m going to drag this thing out.

I made an online order, waited the 30 minutes and walked the 3 blocks, only to be met by a rude cashier that started barking at me soon as I hit the door and she knew everything, except when my pizza would be ready! The couple I was standing beside, had waited and got the wrong pizza. I canceled my order and left.

This place is not your ideal place if you’re expecting great customer service. The workers are on their phones( as they are giving you your food), rush your service, and don’t have manners. If you’re coming just for food this is a good place, not the spot if you expect great service.

I wish I could rate it higher and I know I might have higher pizza standards than most in Louisiana, but this might be the worst 2 slices of pizza I've ever had. Really just not good in any way and I think if I was plastered I'd feel the same.

I have no clue why solo (personal) pizzas cannot be half and half because one side is usually less than the other but grateful for the accommodation.
They seemed to be short staffed the night I went but the waitress, hostess, bartender was one who wore multiple hats and handled it well which was impressive. She even took time to wipe tables (a time before I had been seated at an unclean table) before seating guest.
We walked to the levee where I enjoyed our solo half and half with my 6 year old grand. A beautiful night.

On 10/23/25, I placed a pickup order. The next day, 10/24, I received an alert that the charge amount had been updated. I did not leave a tip, as I did not receive any service. However, someone added a $2 tip to my order without my authorization. While the amount is small, it’s the principle that matters.
I called the store to address the issue, and the manager refunded the $2. Unfortunately, his response was very nonchalant, which was disappointing. I doubt this is an isolated incident and strongly encourage anyone visiting this location to carefully review their transaction receipts.
Skip it. Pizza is not great. Crust is soft, floppy, and ruins the pizza.

My family has been coming to Schlitz for almost ten years. The good days are fantastic. The bad days are extremely bad. Yesterday was a mixture of both.
Our server last night (I believe her name was Emily) was beyond amazing. She was so attentive, funny, and cared about her job and the establishment so much. It was an absolute pleasure talking to her and I hope we get to see her again next time we are in town.
After having a few beers, We ordered two wraps to go at 940 pm (it closes at 10) and would have been on our way. The lady in the kitchen with the two blonde braids apparently did not like that and could be seen and heard giving the nice server push back. That was absolutely ridiculous. I worked in restaurants. It wasn't like we arrived at 959 pm and ordered a pizza. The wraps literally took ten minutes to make and we were on our way with ten minutes to spare.
It is servers like Emily that made us continue to come back even though occurrences like the kitchen lady are common as well. I just want to say thank you Emily for being such a joy to speak to. Good luck in college and everything you do!
