Very good Greek option downtown Baton Rouge! I’ve been coming here for years and always enjoy the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food. The chicken shawarma plate is my favorite since you get the feta cheese salad, hummus, rice pilaf, chicken, and a cup of Grecian sauce.
We found this place by accident and were surprised with some of the best Greek & Lebanese food we’ve ever had! The grape leaves were amazing, Grecian sauce was perfect, and the spinach pie was delicious. The staff was extremely kind and generous. The guy behind the line knew everyone who walked through the door (always a good sign where there are many regulars). DEFINITELY come here. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
I'm blown away. Went to Serop's for the first time today and I know I'll be back repeatedly. Ordered a lebanese tea (lightly sweet and floral) and the 4 side plate: hummus (smooth and creamy with rich tahini flavor), mujadra (perfect texture and spiciness), chicken shawarma (moist and tender), and cucumber, tomato, onion salad (light, tangy, & crisp).Truly tastes like the Syrian home cooking I grew up with.
